I’m using the most up to date version of the theme, plugin, and Chrome. On our homepage, under the FEATURED PARTNER section, we are using an Image Gallery to show multiple images. The “gallery type” is a “Nivo Slider”.

The issue is that the transitions between images are very choppy and sometime stop or freeze. Can you take a look?

    Hello,

We’ve just checked the slider and it’s working without any problems. Please try to check it with some other browser.
    Thank you.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

Seems to work fine in Firefox… Is there an updated version of Nivo that might fix the issue in Chrome?

Sorry, but this is related to Visual Composer plugin as this slider is implemented into their editor.

Can i just ask a quick question, which seems near to the question above, but i’m not totally sure.

Nivo slider offers different effects for the transition, they can’t be chosen in the royal theme (RoyalStore v 1.3). Default is ‘random’, but i want ‘fade’.

I tried to change the default settings in the jquery.nivo.slider.js, but it doesn’t help.
Can you give me the instructions, where i find these settings in the royal theme?

    Thanks for a quick support!
    Simeon

    Hello @meder@f-e-w.ch,

We’re sorry, but we don’t provide support for 3rd-party plugins that aren’t implemented in our theme.
You can try to update the theme to the latest 1.7 version but don’t forget to create a back up before update.

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hey Eva

Nivo Slider is implemented in your theme (image gallery > gallery type > nivo slider), so it would be great if you could help me

I don’t think that the update will help me much, because it’s not a bug in itself, it’s a setting, that’s not possible to change in wordpress or the royal theme.

Could you support me to find it?

    Hello @meder@f-e-w.ch,

Nivo slider is packed into the Visual Composer plugin and not in our theme.
But you can use default VC setting commenting the line 36 require_once( trailingslashit(ETHEME_CODE_DIR). 'vc.php' ); in the file wp-content/themes/royal/framework/init.php.

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
