Hello,

If i switch to the Child theme to override, suddenly a lot of things are in default modus

For example: the footer gives me standard text: 8theme and standard payment logo’s. If i switch back to the normal theme, then you see the footer i made. Same thing for the left column, everything beside ‘search’ widget is with the child theme there not anymore.

On the link you see now the basic theme, but i must switch to child to override.

How to solve? What have i done wrong?

Hello,

You need add the same widgets to child theme as for parent theme in Appearance > Widgets.
Please try it.
