Category images in the shop page are displaying in larger size in mobile view

Hello

My shop page was containing all the products, But now I change all products to display as categories and when clicking on each product it shows its subcategory like that. It is working fine but the problem is that the categories images showing in the shop page have some length it is showing like a rectangle. How can I make it as square ?. Previously when it was showing all products the images was looking good , but when coming to category images it is not good. This problem is seen only in the phone view.

Alright, Thanks for elaborating on your issue. I have checked your site and found that for now, you have set the products only for the shop page as you can see in this image the products appear on the shop page not the categories: https://postimg.cc/NK8J1FtH according to you that the products appear fine but not the categories. So would you please set the type to categories for shop products again and share your site wp-admin URL and access in the private content area of this topic by following the below-given format

WORDPRESS ADMIN URL:
WORDPRESS ADMIN USERNAME:
WORDPRESS ADMIN PASSWORD:

So that I will check and fix your issue on your site.

Note: Please take a complete backup of your site first and allow us to debug your site and change/remove the plugins to solve your issues.

can You check our site now, it is showing category in the shop page. Can You tell how can I make it as a square shape for category image in mobile view Now it is a rectangle shape. Or can you tell how can I make it as displaying one category in one row only in mobile view.

Hello, @Saira,

Thanks, I have checked your issue and found that there is a custom CSS code added on your site that increases the height of the category images check the image: https://postimg.cc/p98CN7wC if I uncheck the code of “Height” the category images appear just as you want. As you can also, see here: https://postimg.cc/YL7yykjQ

So please try to find that code and remove the height code from it, that code might be under Theme Settings >> Theme Custom CSS, then check back to your issue after clearing the browser cache.

I have done as you tell in previous message, based on that colour box is coming but for some product I have a option to select another attribute ie, colour customization ( Material only, Material with colour customization ) it is also coming in the shop page. I don’t want it on the shop page only need to show colour box. How can I hide this. Please help

Hello, @Saira,

Actually, If you have multiple attributes set on a product and all the attributes are showing on the archive page but you want to show the specific one you want. So for this, You have to edit the attributes you don’t want to show on the archive page from the Dashboard >> Products >> Attributes like this: https://postimg.cc/K4tM6FxD and then uncheck the option you see here: https://postimg.cc/PNKD4HH3 by doing this attribute will not appear on the archive page but will appear on the single product page.

I have tried this, But in my case this was already uncheck and I make it check and look but there was no change .

Hello, @Saira,

Your issue has been solved please check back to your site after clearing the browser cache.

I just disable Swatch Position option from XStore >> Theme Settings >> Woocommerce >> Shop element >> Variation swatches. See the image for a better reference: https://postimg.cc/zVYQypqp

I have seen that, but now colour box is also gone. I need that colour box in shop page, not need any other attributes

Hello, @Saira,

Unfortunately, this is not possible, as both are attributes and if you apply the changes from theme settings then it will apply to both of the attributes.

Now if we remove it using the Custom CSS then it will also not work because both attributes have the same classes.

And the option that I showed you above “Enable Archive Option” for the particular attribute is working fine for me on my test site but that option is not working on your site, because you are using a lot of third-party plugins and you also customized the child theme as well, so there must be any confliction there, If you want to check then you have to deactivate all the third party plugins on your site and activate the parent theme and then check back.

Now it is coming correctly. Now only for products that have colour box colour box is coming in the shop page.
