Am I right that once using the single product builder – the 8theme product options box is useless?

I’ve been trying to disable the sidebar on the pages of composite products to increase the available width for the component builder and it does nothing. I try change the layout to free up more width nothing either.

If this is the case – once using that builder is there no way to set per-product overrides?

Sorry missed an image off here: https://ibb.co/K9t0LpG

As you can see the extra space that would be freed up by removing the sidebar on these select product pages would be the ideal solution.

    Hello,

You can disable sidebar in Theme Options > WooCommerce > Single product builder > Layout https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/23133517?key=43334b2919245aa4b8d72bddd3e84e4d

    Regards

    Hi Olga,

Thanks for the response. My problem is I don’t need to disable it for a majority of the thousands of products and it obviously has great uses for them. It’s just in the bundles and composite products we offer – packs, kits etc that everything feels a little tight in space, cramped and I imagine in mobile even worse!

So while I’m making use of the single product builder – every product page will have to follow the design? There’s no way to manually override pages X, Y and Z from the design?

    Hello,

Single Product Builder > Multiple templates > create a new template, select where you want to display your template, and do changes there

    Regards

Rose, thank you so very much! I’ll give this a go today and close off the case if all goes well 🙂

As always the support is appreciated and the product just gets better and better
