    I disabled comments on my site and wanted to remove the “Comments Off” bit at the top of each post on the index page. I fixed it, but not as cleanly as I would like.

    Can you look at this for a future version of the theme?

    At line 95 of loop.php, there’s this guy <span class="meta-sep">|</span>

    Is it possible to shuffle him down a little bit, so that it’s inside the comments-link span?

    I’d like each of those individual separators to be part of the block of the following sections, so that I can hide the block & separator with a single bit of css, e.g. .comments-link {display:none;}

    Currently, If I hide one of the meta sections, I have to go comment the separator out in the code, otherwise I end up with a rogue pipe.

    Thanks.
