Hello – thank you for the Blanco (WooCommerce) theme update. I am running the lastest versions of WordPress and WooCommerce and just updated our theme today, however on the Shopping Cart Page – I cannot change/update quantity of an item. If for example, I add a quantity of “1” of this item to the shopping cart – https://starwedd.com/product/flower-purse-charm/ and then on the actual shopping cart page I try to change the quantity to say, for instance. 7 – when I click on the UPDATE CART button, it does nothing. There is no way to update quantities of an item on the actual shopping cart page.

Kindly advise on how to correct this please.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

You created empty FTP account. We can’t see the files.
Please open access to your site files.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hi Jack,
FYI – I’m having this problem as well, plus one more problem.

    (1) I’m unable to update the QTY on the cart page – nothing happens at all. I thought at the latest versions of Woo and Blanco that changing the QTY automatically updated the totals, that doesn’t work and neither does changing the QTY and then clicking “Update cart”.

    (2) When deleting a product from the cart page the product details and cart totals grey out and the mouse cursor spins (so ajax(?) is running) but when it’s finished the page has not changed. The shoping cart widget in the header still shows a total, the cart page still shows the product and the cart totals are still present. However, moving off the cart page to the checkout page shows ‘your cart is currently empty. So, the deletion worked but the cart page did not update in-situ or refresh to reflect a product was removed.

I haven’t setup access for you to my test site as your working on this with soneone else but if you need me to then please let me know.

    Regards,
    Mike.

Thank you kindly – I apologize for not having known how to create the FTP account properly. I think I got it now and I have sent you the information via Private Content.

    Kind regards.

Hi again – I just needed to add that I just found out that on the actual product pages themselves, even if I select for example a quantity of 5 and Add to Cart, it won’t stick – when I go to the Cart page it reverts to 1.

Hoping this can get resolved with your kind assistance soon as I am losing business with this problem.

I did try with WordPress theme 2015 and the shopping cart page quantities can be adjusted without any problem so that is why I narrowed it down to my theme Blanco.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @Eva,
I’ve moved my support topic from here to https://www.8theme.com/topic/problems-with-cart-page-at-blanco-3-5-1/ and added the access details you requested.

I originally though I had the same problem as @smpleader but they now seem to be different so thought it best and less confusing to start a new topic.

    Thanks,
    Mike.

Good morning – just woke up here to read Mike’s post above although I am confident our issues are related. I read on his other post that Eva acknowledged there is an issue with the new version of Blanco and advised Mike to revert to the previous version of WooCommerce. I have not heard back yet from either Jack or Eva after I re-created an FTP account, however if in my case I would also need to revert to the previous version of WooCommerce, would you please help me with this? I am just a work at home mother who has been selling online for 17 years to be able to be near my children and while I have “better” computer literacy and awareness than most average persons, I am not at all versed in manipulating such files on the server and would honestly have no idea of how to do this without messing up my website. I am using the name “smpleader” because that is the username of the hired person who did the website for me including purchasing the Blanco theme and he turned over the account when the site was completed, so I am concerned about having to do something with the files on my end. Any help with this, I would be eternally grateful! Thanks so much.

    Hello @smpleader,

    Sorry for a delay.
I’ve reuploaded theme files for you.
    Please check your site now.
Also disable all 3rd-party plugins and clear browser cache/cookies before checking.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

@Eva – THANK YOU so very KINDLY for doing this. Everything looks great and works as it should now!

When I logged in via backend / dashboard I now see there is a new version of WooCommerce with some ‘fixes’ – do you recommend we WAIT to make sure there are no issues before updating the WooCommerce?

Thanks again for all your wonderful assistance and service.

    Hello,

    You’re welcome.
Yes, we recommend to keep current Woocommerce version for now.
Also you may try to update it, but create site backup before.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.
