Please remove the existing file from the directory and then upload a updated version of the Plugin.
Follow the steps below to update plugins through FTP:
Download the zipped packages from the Downloads page and extract it to your desktop.
Upload the extracted plugins folders to /wp-content/plugins/ folder on your server with overwriting.
