Random product text appearing under posts in search results

Hi. The search results on my site show products, posts and pages. Under ‘posts’ some random product description text appears. The site is http://www.vacair-superstore.com. If you visit the site and search for something it may have (eg ‘vacuum’) you will see what I mean.
My account has a licence for the staging version of this site which dates back to 2021, I have tried to find how to change this to the live version but can’t figure it out (they really don’t make it easy!) . I have attached a screenshot to show I have purchased support.

Actually now I look at it, I think the licence for this site is a lifetime one from our original site designer who has branded the theme under Feel Design

Hello @JimB,

The configuration of post types displayed on the search results page can be adjusted in “Customizer -> Header Builder -> Search” (https://gyazo.com/3ef5d375a9f38330f0fda92acacce385). You can disable posts or pages from appearing in search results if desired.

Regarding the display of excerpts, please add a custom excerpt to each of your posts (https://gyazo.com/668657dd7ef64b572b03f7853b59aa4d) for correct display in search results. If this field is left empty, the excerpt will be automatically generated from the first available post or product. In your case, since none of the posts have custom excerpts, the WordPress get_the_excerpt() function will load excerpt from the next product – Vacuum Pump Filter Fit Becker 909580.

Hello @JimB,

As we mentioned, an excerpt can be set for posts, as shown here: https://prnt.sc/aXJL4ZT3orsr. In the post backend settings, there is a dedicated field for this purpose: https://prnt.sc/pEOLPrcEwYSW.

However, the “Pages” post type does not include an excerpt field, which is why the search results page displays only the page title: https://prnt.sc/QJJIaxSvd3w6.
