    Hello Support Team,

    I recently installed and activated the XStore theme on my website. After completing the installation, I noticed that the entire website layout is broken and not displaying correctly.

    The issue affects the whole site, not just the homepage. It seems like the CSS styles are not loading properly or the theme styles are not being applied correctly.

    I have already tried the following steps:

    Cleared all cache (browser and caching plugins)
    Regenerated CSS files from XStore Theme Options
    Saved permalinks again
    Disabled caching/minification plugins
    Tested in incognito mode

    Unfortunately, the issue is still present.

    Could you please help me identify what is causing the CSS/layout issue and guide me on how to fix it?

    Thank you in advance for your support.

    Hello @mostafa,

    After reviewing your website, we noticed that you already have a large number of additional plugins (such as Litespeed cache, Starter Templates, Site Kit by Google etc.), custom products, and other configuration changes. As stated in our documentation, for correct import of demo content, we highly recommend performing the demo import on a fresh WordPress installation.

    You can find more information about this process here:

    Therefore, we kindly ask you to carry out the demo import on a fresh installation and check the results. For more details, please refer to the following links:

    I have already done that. I previously imported the demo on a clean installation, and everything was working perfectly.

    However, a problem occurred when I compressed the CSS files through the Xstore theme, which caused the website to break again. When I tried to fix everything, the issue was not resolved.

    As a result, I deleted the database بالكامل from Hostinger and reinstalled everything twice, but the same problem occurred again.

    The issue is not caused by these plugins, as they were working fine before. I honestly don’t know where the problem is coming from.

    Please assist me with this issue. Thank you.

    I will do this again. However, if the issue happens again, I will request assistance from your side.

    Hello @mostafa,

    Yes, please try importing it on a fresh WordPress installation and check if the issue persists. Kindly avoid performing any additional actions or installing extra plugins, as we need to identify the source of the problem. If you encounter any issues on a clean installation with only the required plugins for your demo, please provide the details, and we will review the matter.

    The problem has been resolved and the installation is now safe, but the translation is not working.
    It works with some words but not others.

    Hello @mostafa,

    Thank you for your message. We are pleased to hear that the installation issue has been resolved and that everything is now functioning properly and safely.

    Regarding the translation, please note that since you are using our built-in translation functionality (enabled as shown here: https://gyazo.com/6c911a6554bb79764ab83d00e9d04e92), custom translations created through other plugins may not work as expected. You can disable the built-in translation feature and then try translating your strings again. More details can be found here: https://www.8theme.com/topic/is-there-a-way-to-change-the-text-copy-for-the-hot-label-for-featured-products/#post-468706
    XStore documentation: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/xstore-built-in-translations/

    If you have any further questions, please clarify which plugin you are using for translations and provide screenshots of the strings you are trying to translate. It is also possible that you are checking theme strings, while the relevant strings may actually belong to the WooCommerce plugin.

    Best regards,

    I would like to report that the store is not working properly for me in its current state. At the beginning of the installation process, everything was well translated into Arabic, and the feature for switching between Arabic and English was also available and working correctly.
    However, the situation has completely changed now. The translation feature is no longer working as it used to, and the overall user experience has become different and unstable, which is not suitable for me at all.
    I kindly ask you to review this issue and resolve it as soon as possible, as the current system is not usable for me.
    Thank you for your cooperation.

    Note: I do not want to use additional translation tools.

    Hello, mostafa,

    We have resolved this issue by adding the following custom CSS to the header of this page:

    body .page-heading {
        padding-top: 8em !important;
        padding-bottom: 7em !important;
    }

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team
