Is there a way to change the text / copy for the Hot label for featured products?

You can modify the “Hot” text using the Loco Translate plugin by locating the appropriate theme or plugin translation file. Please ensure that you are editing the translation file for the XStore Core plugin (or the XStore theme if additional strings from theme are required). Then, search for the “Hot” string and replace it with your preferred text. After saving the translation, clear your website and browser cache to apply the changes.

Please note that if you are using our built-in translations (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/xstore-built-in-translations/), the translated strings from Loco Translate may not take effect, as built-in translations have higher priority.

Once you disable the built-in translation feature, you will be able to use translations from the Loco Translate plugin. You only need to translate the necessary strings; translating approximately 70–75% of them will cover most of your requirements.
