Import demo content feature not working.

    Hi there,

    Is there currently a problem with the Demo Content import? I have tried importing multiple theme demos but keep getting the error:

    patches not installed 🙁

    My system requirements are all met. I have tried increasing memory limits etc as well but still get the same errors.

    While I am here, there is another issue. The “Handmade Artisans” demo is not available in the Theme Demo search. It is however available when using Envato’s live preview.

    Please advise ASAP.

    Hi,

    Your site is under maintenance mode, so we can’t check it withhout wp-admin access.

    We’ve cheked and all works fine on our own test sites.

    Could you please provide temporary wp-admin access? We need to check your settings.

    To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.

    Hi Ayan,

    Thanks, what exactly was the issue – I was getting errors importing – did you have to change any settings?

    The theme demo we are actually wanting to use is “Handmade Artisans” which was unavailable to import – as per my screenshot.

    Can we clear the theme demo you imported and rather import “Handmade Artisans” please?

    Hi,

    We temporarily disabled third-party plugins before performing the import and cleared the cache.

    Thanks Ayan. The only plugins installed would be those that Xstore requires – its a fresh install.

    For future use – can you let me know which plugins cause a problem with the Demo Import?

    Hi,

    You’re very welcome!

    For future reference, you don’t need to enable any plugins before running the demo import. During the import process, the system will automatically prompt you to install only the required plugins.

    Please note that you should not activate both WPBakery and Elementor at the same time, as only one page builder is needed. Additionally, avoid installing or activating the Kirki Customizer Framework plugin, since it conflicts with the Kirki code already included in our Core plugin.

    The demo content has already been successfully imported, so you can now activate any third-party plugins you wish to use—just make sure not to enable the Kirki plugin to prevent conflicts.

    Hi Ayan,

    Thank you. We want to try another one of the Import Demos but I still get the same issue. I have attached a screen recording – you can see the plugins. I have deleted Kirki but still get the same issue.

    Can you take a screen recording of how to successfully import? I have actually used Xstore on a few website builds and this is the first time I have this issue. We are now trying to import the “Drinks” theme demo.

    Hi Ayan,

    Thanks for the video but it starts right at the import. Are you doing something before importing the Demo Content?

    I tried importing another theme demo again and get exactly the same errors. I want to take Elements from multiple theme demos.

    I switched to Edge and it worked now – is the import buggy in Firefox (this is my default browser).

    How can I remove the Maintenance Mode?

    We used the Chrome browser. You may consider updating Firefox, disabling additional extensions for this browser, or performing the import using another browser where everything works properly.

    About the Maintenance Mode, please go to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Features.
