If you go to a product on the website (I will put a link in the private area). You will see that there are 2 options for this product Strength and Flavour. Please select a strength lets say 10mg for example. Next select a flavour and add a random quantity for that flavour. It adds it to the side cart as you would expect. However it only shows the strength not the flavour selected. This is part of the problem I need it to show both this is very important. As cutomers often order multiple flavours and need to keep a track of what they have ordered.

    Now for the next problem.
Please add 2 more flavours (diffrent to the one you have already added) and any quantity of each flavour. You will see that you now have 3 items in the side cart and the prices are correct the discount has been applies as you add more items. If you look at my Cart in the header you will will also see that the cart total agrees with the side cart so apart from the flavours not showing all is good and working.
So now please goahed and add 2 more flavours this will give you a total of 5 flavours in you basket however only 3 show up on the side cart but the price shown in the side cart reflects the price for all 5 flavours you have added and if you you look at the item count in My Cart in the header this refelcts all the 5 items added.
You can keep on adding products but the side cart (which is where customers look) still only shows the first 3 items added.
If you click on the My Cart in the header this opens up the side cart but it still only shows the first 3 items added. With no flavour showing

OK this is strange now if you have the side cart showing then click on view cart all the items show up and are there complet with their flavour being displayed so that is working as it should. Lets say you get to this stage and decide you have missed something off you order and want to add another product. Give this a try go to any other product on the site but DO NOT add it yet. From that product page from the header select the my cart link and this as it should will open the side cart but this time the side cart shows all the products complete with the flavour options (in fact all the options that were selected) which is my understanding how the side cart should work all the time.
Ok last step add that other product to your basket now and you will see that the side cart has gone back to showing the first 3 products you added without the Flavour option but the product count in the header and the price in the side cart has increased and all and any discounts are applied corectley.

If you follow the steps you will see exactley what I mean as this is hard to describe.

This is a big problem for me as I am getting emails from customers saying they can only add 3 products to their cart. Is this a setting that I have missed? As the site is now live this is costing me sales so a swift souloution would be much appreciated.
    Thanks
    Nick

    Hello,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

Could you please provide a link to the product, as we are currently unable to see it in the private content area?

Regarding the number of products displayed in the side cart, this can be configured through the Header Builder: https://prnt.sc/XtXCjlGrdwn-

Link to a product in description. I have fixed the number of items to show in side cart so that is no longer an issue Thank You. However all the other problems still remain.

Add a selection of the the product to the cart, side cart does not show the variation see image attached “Variations Flavour not showing..png” However go to view cart from the side cart and all variations are shown as the should be now go to another page any will do the home page is good. From there click on view cart and all the variations are shown in the side cart see image attached “After visting another page.png”

Then add another product any will do to your basket and all the variations vanish from the side cart. just the parent title is visible, But again if you vist any other page and select view cart from the header all product info is shown in the side cart until you add another item then it vanishes.

Hope that makes sense it is hard to explain.

My website is showing the same thing. If I add more than 3 products into the cart, in the sidebar basket it still shows only 3, no matter how many are in the basket in reality.
    I have added credentials.

We have made fixes to the website for which you provided us access. However, we have noticed that the product link redirects to another website. Could you please grant us access to that website as well, along with access to the admin panel and FTP?

    Hi
Thanks could you tell me which website you need access to ? as far as I konw there are 2 sites

https://jackseliquid.com/ this is the live site

and https://a40o3hjkb5-staging.onrocket.site/ which is the staging site your works on both should work on both sites. However as I have now set the staging site to live that becomes the most important one as I am going to delete the staging site tomorrow unless you need it live?

    Hi Andrew
Sorry but I can’t see any difference.

Have a look at image 1 you can see I have 3 items added to my basket but it is not showing the options properly in the side cart.

Now look at image 2 to after clicking view cart in the side bar, it is showing all the options strength and flavour

Now go to any page lets say the home page for example and from the header bar click on my cart when the side cart opens all the options are there Strength and flavour are showing see image 3.

Now go to any other product and add it to your cart when the side cart opens all the options are not showing again see image 4.

The thing is the side cart should always show like it is in image 4 or 3 with all the options displayed

Hi thanks for getting back to me I think maybe I didn’t explain it well enough as watching the video I can see you have recreated it.

The screen shots I have taken this time are from the video you sent me. let me try again first have a look at image ss1 it is from the video and shows 3 bottles of Elfliq have been added to your cart and just from looking at that can you tell me what the 3 flavours you added are only by looking at ss1. That screen shot was taken at 24 seconds.

OK the next screen shot was taken at 52 seconds now I am sure that you can tell me what 3 flavours of elfliq you placed in the basket this is referring to ss2

I have put them both together on ss3 for you look at and see the difference.

Now at around 1min 8 seconds you add another product to the basket another E-Liquid so you now have 4 in the basket but take a look now at ss4 and you have no idea what the flavours are.

This is what I mean the side cart should always display as in ss2 which I belive is how it is meant to display. Imagine that you are a customer on the site and are going to order 20 E-Liquids in different flavours how would you possibly know what you had already ordered.

    Thanks
    Nick

    Hello,

Thank you for your clarification, especially for providing the screenshot (ss3). The issue occurred because a third-party plugin, using the filter woocommerce_product_variation_title_include_attributes, adds variation details to the product title in a random order.

As you can see in the screenshot, in one case the variation details appear in the title, while in another they are displayed in a separate block.

Unfortunately, WooCommerce does not allow displaying this information in two places simultaneously. To avoid confusion, we have added the following filter to the xstore-child/functions.php file.

    add_filter('woocommerce_product_variation_title_include_attributes', '__return_false', 999);

This filter removes attribute information from the product title, ensuring that it is always displayed as a list below the product.

    Hello, nickporter,
Yes, it should work on mobile devices. There should be a panel similar to the one shown in the screenshot.

Thanks yes I was wondering if the side cart popped out on the mobile when you added something to your basket. It’s not on my site though maybe I had missed a setting or something or maybe it just isn’t a function.

On mobile devices, the popup for adding a product should be displayed. However, in your case, this does not happen because the parent block for the cart is hidden on mobile. Therefore, we recommend either not hiding the parent block on mobile or creating a copy of the cart block (in the header) specifically for mobile devices.
