Theme Update Not Appearing on Staging Site

    Hi XStore Support,

    We’re currently using the XStore theme on our live site (https://regencycigar.com/) and a staging environment (https://2657cefbc8.nxcli.io/), hosted with Nexcess.

    We’ve noticed that the latest theme update is available on our live site but not appearing on the staging site. We’d prefer to test the update on staging first before deploying it live. Could you please let us know why the update isn’t showing on the staging environment and how we can make it available there?

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    May we kindly ask if you are using a caching plugin? If so, please try temporarily disabling it or clearing the cache, and then check if the update becomes available.

    To manually force an update check, please follow these steps:
    1. Go to Dashboard > Updates
    2. Click the “Check Again” button
    3. Locate the XStore theme in the list
    4. Select the theme and click the “Update” button

    If the issue persists after following these steps, we kindly ask you to provide us with temporary wp-admin and FTP access so we can investigate further.

    To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.

    For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

    Hi Alex,

    Thanks for your response.

    Yes, we already cleared the cache on the staging site and also attempted reconnecting the license, but the theme update still isn’t appearing there. We also used the “Check Again” button in Dashboard > Updates, but it made no difference.

    As requested, we’ve provided temporary access details in the Private Content section
