Layerslider not working with Blanco - by jodistuchlik

Hi, I just purchased Blanco a few days ago and was trying to put the demo pages up.

Layerslider is asking for some license key, and I do not have the slider up on my website. Can someone please lay out the proper procedure for the Slider configuration? I see some responses that indicate some issues with the Layerslider plugin.

Please advise.

Thanks Eva. It looks good!

1) Is it possible for me to quickly change the images in the slider? What are the dimensions for the main images in the slider?

2) Also, how do I quickly change the two smaller images below the slider?

3) Is it possible for me to create separate pages/tabs that display different product categories, i.e. one tab/page for men’s products and another tab/page for women’s products?

Hello,

1. You can change images in slider settings. The dimensions of our demo images are 940px × 400px.
2. Those banners are added on your Home page with the code

```
Go to Pages > Home and edit img src links to your images links.
3. You can create categories in Products > Categories and mark each product for the category.
Then you need add product categories to your menu in Appearance > Menus

Hi,

With regards to this website: auradecordesigns.co.uk

We have had a similar problem with this slideshow this past week where the slideshow had disappeared from the front page of the website and the website was being redirected away to other websites.

We believe that an update of the them and WordPress to the latest version might resolve this but is there anything I could try before?

You’re using old versions of WordPress, LayerSlider plugin and the theme.
Please update them to the latest versions:

Don’t forget to create a back up before the update.

Thanks for getting back to me Eva.

I’m trying to update the layerSlider plugin which has asked me to re-enter the purchase code.

I’ve done so but keep getting this error message:

“Your purchase code appears to be invalid. Please take special care to enter it correctly without accidentally including spaces or other additional characters. Please note, this feature won’t accept your theme’s purchase code. This also can be a temporary issue in our services. In that case please try it again in a few hours.”

Hello,

You need download the plugins at this link https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ and upload a new plugin folder via FTP and replace the old one in wp-content/plugins directory.
Purchase key needs to be inserted if you bought the plugin yourself, purchase key of the theme won’t affect it at all.
