Hello Luca,
that removes the County Field but unfortunately the shipping will still not complete. I believe we need to change the description from:
County (optional)
to:
County *
Customers will then know that this is required to complete the checkout.
Are you able to advise how to make that change?

whichever solution is easiest. Remove County or change the description from (Optional) to have a * to show it is mandatory.

Hi Rose,
It appears that the code for the .htaccess file does not resolve the issue with the plugin is re-enabled. Perhaps the required php module not installed on our hosting evnironment.
I will leave the plugin disabled for now.
