Thank you, I provided wp access. I have not had to add code to child theme, so have not had any experience with it.

Another two screenshots. Shows the category section on the home page.
1 image shows the demo theme, the categories appear in 2 columns. However on the importered demo, it only shows in one column on mobile, with no option to change columns on mobile. Column change settings is global. Desktop version is fine .
Please ensure that the categories are also contained in the centre of the page, in 2 columns.
I’ve attached another two screenshots.
It shows that the blog carousel will not remain centered , although it has been set to do so. Desktop version is fine.
I have compared this to the demo theme, and the demo theme also has this issue.
Hello,
The old website (using animals demo) pulls the images from the standard WooCommerce section, which means I only need to create the brand list and upload the images 1 time to woocommerce brands, and not to both woocommerce brands and xstore brands. This same image from the woocommerce brands also shows on the single product page, under the buy now button.
If I am to rebuild the brands section on the new website (niche market) will I also need to build the brands list on WooCommerce brands, so that it can be visible in other areas of the website. Or, will XSTORE brands replace the functionality across the whole website (not just the carousel)
Video showing Animals Demo Theme providing Brands Carousel via WOOCOMMERCE brands. Xstore brands is not even a part of this demo themes infrastructure. I am NOT saying it is broken, I am saying that it has already been proven possible with this animals demo theme, by default. But not with the niche market theme, by default.
The demo used was “animals” this demo didn’t use XSTORE brands when it was set up. It uses woocomerce brands
ill get a video
“Therefore, it would be incorrect to say that a particular widget initially worked with WooCommerce brands and later stopped functioning, as this was never technically possible.”
I did not say that.
What I said is
I have a website which is currently live, using this theme (different demo) and it STILL CURRENTLY use woocomerce brands which is still active, and visible in the screenshots.
I never once said that has worked previously and doesn’t work now. I said it works on my other xstore website, by default, and there is no XSTORE BRANDS installed. Please review my request more accurately.
Should I provide a video for you, showing what is already possible with your theme by default? Or is this explaination sufficient for you
Im not looking to turn anything off and like I explained I had undone this and rebuilt it again without any errors, so there’s no need for me to change any settings based on that advise.

Ive also attached two images for reference.
When I asked for the banner area to be fixed, and I review the response “except for inserting pre-built banners using XStudio.” you can clearly see from the picture that it wasn’t done right.
1 Image shows the layout after “except for inserting pre-built banners using XStudio.” its still a mess. Layout and spacing is all over the place and very untidy.
the other image shows “how it should look” (how the theme suggest) and quite clearly the layout is perfect now.
The website now looks how it should. Dont make any changes. Review the videos I sent you to better understand the error you made. Thanks
UPDATE:
I have resolved this issue myself. My initial request was to fix the banner area.
The response I got was :
1. We would like to clarify that we have not made any changes or modifications to your website, except for inserting pre-built banners using XStudio.
This change you mentioned “except for inserting pre-built banners using XStudio” caused a major glitch on this theme and had to be revered back to before it was done.
How I resolved the issue:
Reverting back to backup, prior to 8themes access. Adding images to the banner placeholders which already existed. Once the background images were added, the banner area began displaying correctly.
“except for inserting pre-built banners using XStudio.” Created a huge glitch, next time, backups will be taken before anymore here modifies my site. When you have access in future, do not make any changes until you have confirmed that
A: I am online.
B: I have backed up prior to you making changes.
Hopefully we have no more issues and if I encounter an error it can be resolved fast without people trying to deny responsibility for errors. Thanks
Two screenshots.
1: Elemntor page showing brands carousel NOT using “Brands we Trust”
2: Admin dashboard, showing the location the images are saved. Which is: Products > Brands.
This is what I am looking for, its already possible with this theme and elementor and DOES NOT require the brands we trust that you keep mentioning.
Hello,
Your response isn’t exactly accurate to the scope of my request.
As I explained, my current 8theme website (not this one) uses the standard WooCommerce Brands. When I put brand images into the standard woocomerce brands section it is also reflected on my brands carrousel on the home page. However this is not the same with this demo theme.
How can I do what is already done in my previous theme. Im not asking for something to be developed, I’m asking how to do what is already possible to be done.
Just to clarify, as mentioned in next thread, The changes you made here caused a huge glitch with the theme, rendering it completely uneditable with elementor.
I have provided two video proofs in the next thread which perfectly demonstrate the glitch that is reoccurring after these changes were made. One video shows what happens after the changes were made. One video shows how the elementor builder functions (as it should) when backup is restored to the point BEFORE you made these changes.
This issue is not resolved, but I closing this thread as a new one has been opened. Thanks.
Second video attached.
Website is restored from backup PRIOR to the changes made my 8theme (priovious thread).
As you can see, when I scroll down the page, the banner area that I asked to be fixed originally, is now broken is again. (due to back up being before changes were made).
As you can see, when I use elementor and make a single change (demonstrated in the same way as video 1) the website DOES NOT dismantle itself upon submission of changes.
This glitch is a result of the changes made to my home page by 8theme in the previous thread.
I have undone all changes.
Please ensure that this doesn’t happen again when the banner is added. and please confirm with me when changes are being made PRIOR to doing them, so I can take a backup and minimise loss when. something like this goes wrong. over 24 hours I have had to deal with this glitch and cannot move forward until resolved
Just to clarify, the issue is still occurring. I am unable to continue making changes to my site due to this. I am going to restore from an earlier back up, and lose days of work prior to when 8theme made the changes to my website, so that I can continue to edit. When you are able to provide me a solution for adding this banner area (as the demo them shows) without malfunctioning my home page please respond as it it urgent and no problems were happening with the builder prior to 8theme making changes . thanks
Ive attached a scene recording.
Website was restored from the backup made just after the home page banner area (mid page) was modified in the previous thread. There’s nothing else that was done at the same time, I am, the only other person with access and was strictly supposed to be finishing my home page using elementor, the theme was being changed step-by-step, no modifications were being made my myself, only the change of colours, backgrounds and images, no other complex settings were being modified at the same Time, no widgets or sections were being added by myself at this time. The issue mentioned in the previous thread that was then modified as a result is the only major thing that has changed, and is solely responsible for this glitch.
In the video, You can see the method I have used from the beginning to implant the changes I want, to bring this them from the demo theme to my own theme and colours, no other modifications, its why I choose the theme because the layout was perfect for my project and would not require any modification, just simple adjustments of what was already provided.
I have stuck to this method since the beginning, and if something isn’t right, I go back, and this is why I am saying that the issue I am experiencing is a result of the modification to the home page (previous thread). If the problem was related to any changes I made previously, then I would have encountered it already, and already reverted back. This problem has only manifested AFTER the changes were made in the previous thread.
Hope this helps you understand it better and to resolve this problem that has manifested because unfortunately I have not made any progress on it today and cannot move forward until its resolved.
Essentially all I am asking for is a home page that looks and behaves how the demo implies. And it still needs to be modifiable by myself using elementor without dismantling itself when any change is made.
Next two Images, show the complete disaster that results from changing any setting within elementor. The only setting that was changed in this instance was the blog posts were changed to “align center”. once changes are submitted the whole home page is destroyed as a result.
I have been building they page for some time and have enough experience doing so to tell you that this is a problem/glitch that has started happening only AFTER the banner area was modified in the previous request. Elementor has been very stable and has only changed EXACTLY what I request. However, since this banner was modified (in the other request) the home page is not able to have any changes made to it without it being essentially dismantled when changes are submitted.
I am explaining this as best as I can. It is not a server issue. I know how to reset cache, its not cache related. The only thing that is different now, and in all the time ive been making the page, is that it was accessed by someone else in the previous thread and now the home page is having issues with elementor.
If that description is not enough to understand the issue, then I will restore from backup again, provide a video showing you exactly how it happens from my point off view, its definately not right and as I mentioned, has only started happening AFTER the scope of the last request was modified by the 2nd admin which I provided access to. No other changes were made at the same time by any other person.
Im restoring from back up to undo this and will open a new thread
Mobile view. To clarity, background image was changed . No other settings were changed. This section of website no causes huge conflict with rest of site; including the random change of font / colour. None of these changes should be a result of simple banner change
All that has been changed is the background images for this banners. no other settings have been tweaked. when submitted, it conflicts the rest of the website. This banner section you have put on the home page is causing problems everywhere else.
Remember and reset your cache before checking please.
check this mess out, that’s after changing just 1 background image on the banner you put on the home page. they cannot be customised without ruining the whole site.
The banner needs to be work the same as the rest of the site, elementor compatible without conflicts., Thanks
The whole website layout has changed again.
When I chnage the background image for one of the banners you added to the home page, it effects the whole website, rendering it completely useless. I need to be able to modify this section freely using element or without this conflict from destroying everything.
please note I am more than familiar with cache resets, this is not a cache issue, this issue is reoccurring whenever a small edit it made to the banner you have implanted, they cannot be customised without messing up all other sections…….
Just to clarify, I selected this theme because of the initial impression it gave on the layout (in the demo), so I am looking to have it display as the demo suggests, which is why the theme was chosen.
Hello,
Changes were showing after the cache reset on multiple browsers. however have now been reverted somehow.
The layout of the banner you have inserted is still experiencing some layout/sizing issues.
I am on a temp device, so do not have photoshop to illustrate the errors in details, but I’ve attached two screenshots from desktop and its visible from these that the banners positions/sizing/layout is still ever so slightly off. The left side sticks out more at the top than the bottom, there is also uneven spacing between the banners.
