    I’m trying to get the “Zoom effect” to work properly, however when I hover over the image, a larger image does appear but it is noticeably squashed in width.

    Why is this happening and how can I correct it?

    I have enclosed a link in the private content area.

    Hello,

    As I see zoom effect is working properly:

    Please clarify your issue with more details.

    Look at the proportions of the image. It’s not working correctly. The original photo on the page is correct, but when the zoomed image appears it’s squashed in width vertically.

    The examples on your demo are working fine, but this is definitely not. Test it by taking a screenshot of the original and zoomed photo and comparing in Photoshop when shrunk down to the same size.

    The proportions of the image have definitely changed, see this example:

    Hello,

    I’ve disabled “Hard Crop” option in Woocommerce > Settings > Products > Display.
    Please clear browser cache and check zoom effect now.

    Regards,

    That seems like a bad shortcut, because although it fixes the zoom problem, all the other images are now in completely different sizes.

    Before, everything was tidy and cropped the same.

    Surely this is not the answer? The zoom is the only problem, and this works perfectly on your demo.

    Hello,

    Please add this code in Theme Options > Styling > Custom CSS > Custom CSS for desktop:

    .product-category > a img {
      width: 200px;
    }

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Not sure what that would do? Seems pointless.

    Anyone I’ve turned off hard cropping on the catalog and thumbnails, so it’s only on the product single page now. However even that seems like a bit of a last minute fix. Why can’t I keep cropping on but have the zoom work?

    Hello,

    As I see now your category images have the same sizes.

    Clear your browser cache and check again.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.
