XStore Search is very slow - by silentmedia

Hello,

I have installed xstore and it looks great, but it is very slow. I can run WordPress and WooCommerce and speed is fine.

Slow parts are 1. The Search Box 2. Add to Cart

For example your demo is very fast.

But on my site Search and Add to cart is slow.

Sorry for some delay in answerings.
Could you explain what do you mean search and add to cart is slow? I checked your site and don’t see problem with these options.

Hi,

What I mean is the speed of the results using search. Try to search for a product on your demo store as links provided. You can see by the time you typed 3rd letter the results are already showing.

Try using search box on my site e.g. type ‘Stand’ and it takes a very long time to show results.

It’s not related to theme settings. The same for Add to cart.

Hi, I upgraded my site to a Cloud Server and it still does not run my installation of XStore anywhere near as fast as your demo https://www.8theme.com/demo/xstore/furniture/

Can you tell me what spec servers you run your demo on and also what plugins you have used? I have added W3 Total Cache.

Sorry for the delay in answering. I was waiting for response from our developers and server admin.
Our server has following parameters

Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-1650 v3 @ 3.50GHz
128G RAM
2xSSD raid

To improve page speed we recommend using cache plugin W3 Total cache for example, it has almost all the necessary options. Theme supports all the plugin option, but if you use Minify mode it should be Manual. Minify settings http://prntscr.com/cq3b7v

To optimize CSS, JS, HTML use also Autoptimize plugin
