    Hi,
I have this domain which I had initially started creating with woodmart theme, but finally I decided to use yours.
With the activation of your theme on the site, the widgets from woodmart do not work at all.

I am trying to transfer a container using the copy and paste method, but this process does not work,

Elementor technical support told me that the containers I am trying to transfer are include XStore-specific Elementor widgets or include Woodmart-specific Elementor.

    Εlementor support
(When you paste them into a Woodmart installation, Elementor cannot recognize or load them because those widgets simply don’t exist in that environment. That’s why the errors occur.
When you temporarily switch the theme to XStore, the widgets load correctly, confirming that they are third-party, theme-dependent widgets.)

Is there a way to solve this problem?

I am sending you access for wordpress with Xstore theme (shopbuy.gr) or Woodmart theme (staging.shopbuy.gr).

I’m sending you a relevant video with the movements I’m trying to make.

    Best Regards
    Sampanis Ioannis

    Hello @sampanis,

Thank you for choosing XStore theme!

The Elementor support team has provided you with the correct information. If you are using widgets from the WoodMart theme and wish to migrate your website to another theme, please note that such widgets cannot be transferred, as they are built into the previous theme’s files and rely on its scripts and styles. You will need to use the widgets provided by the XStore theme. XStore offers more than 60+ widgets, so you will certainly find the ones you need.

Additionally, you can take advantage of our built-in XStudio functionality, which allows you to import pre-built sections from our demos: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/xstore-features/xstudio-feature-of-xstore-wordpress-theme/.

Regarding your question about the live copy feature, as shown in your video, you are using Elementor’s default functionality. As mentioned in the popup alert (https://prnt.sc/-OupzomGjNwz), “in order to copy and paste between sites, both sites must be using Elementor 3.11 (at minimum) and must have the same features enabled. For instance, you can’t copy a container into a site using sections; however, you can copy a section into a site using containers.” More information can be found here: https://elementor.com/help/how-do-i-copy-elements-from-one-site-to-another/.

In your case, we recommend comparing the features activated on both websites and ensuring they match. Then, try copying again. If the issue persists, create a simple page on both websites, add a test widget, and attempt to copy it between them. The issue may occur if you are copying a “section” into a “container” widget.

If you still require our assistance, please feel free to submit your questions on our support forum.

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team

I’m experiencing the exact same issue with the Live Copy feature.
My site is built using containers, and I’m not sure whether the demo you’re using here (https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor/demos/minimal-fashion02/icon-box-element/
) is based on sections or containers.

You mentioned that both sites must have the same features enabled, could you clarify which features you’re referring to? How can I know which settings need to match between your demo and my site in order for Live Copy to work?

Please provide further clarification. I tried using this feature months ago, and the situation seems unchanged.

All I get is the message “It looks like you haven’t copied any section yet” even if on your site I get “Content has been successfully copied. You can paste it to your website using Right click in Elementor editor > Live Paste. Watch Video”.

    Thank you

    Hello @mickmickmick,

We understand that you are experiencing an issue with the “Live Paste” feature.

Please download the required element files from the following link: https://fex.net/s/8o4ofmt. After successfully downloading them, edit a page using the Elementor tool and import the templates to your website according to the instructions provided at https://elementor.com/help/template-library/. You may remove any parts of the template that are not needed for your page.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our support team is always ready to assist you.

Additionaly, we kindly ask you to create a separate topic for your other questions, as this discussion concerns a different request.

    Warm regards,
    Jack Richardson
    The 8Theme Team
