Xstore main theme shows up as “BigDrop” on multiple sites

    Hello, I have multiple sites that after the latest update show up as “BigDrop” instead of the usual xstore on appearance. The name apeared even on the updae screen. I updated them but the issue remains. Noted, it does not affect all my xstore installations, just a few. Just FYI.

    We would like to kindly ask whether you have utilized the XStore White Label Branding plugin (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/white-label-branding-plugin/) on the websites in question.

    Please note that we have not made any modifications to the theme name in our recent updates. Therefore, any changes you are observing may be the result of customizations on your end or the use of the aforementioned plugin with personalized settings.

    No, i do not use this plugin and never modified anything that would change the default theme name. The child theme name is not affected. This happened on two of my installations, the one being relatively new, so I don’t see how it can not be update related. Anyway, I just thought I let you know, in the case you want to investigate further, feel free to ask for credentials.

    We have thoroughly reviewed our template and did not identify any issues on our end. It is possible that the matter may be related to custom translations configured on your side.

    May we kindly ask if you have made any recent changes or customizations to the translations?

    You are correct, I have enabled your embedded translations. Maybe someone did something wrong in the name, because disabling them changed the theme name back to xstore.
