    Hi there!

After the latest update of the theme and the theme plugin, an issue occurred and currently the plugin is deactivated on my live website. I’m really not sure what to do and what steps to take. Should I be worried and stop the access to the website? On the front everything looks ok I guess. Should I roll back to the previous version? Any advice will be highly appreciated, thank you!

    Best wishes,
    Anastasia

    Hello @Anastasia,

We have observed that the XStore Core is currently active on your website, as shown in this screenshot: https://gyazo.com/2fd8d2994a216e3036405230d6c0ea84. It appears that the issue during the update was temporary, and everything is functioning correctly now. There is no need for concern. If you have any further questions, please feel free to submit them or provide additional details so that we can better understand your request.

    Hello again,

Yes, fortunately this was a temporary issue. But today I was notified of another one – the form for leaving a review on the product page is missing – https://prnt.sc/W7IWOhsx0cx9

I checked all settings in the theme but everything is turned on. Any advice? Thank you!

    Best regards,
    Ana

    Hello @Anastasia,

We have reviewed few individual products, and the review form is displaying correctly, as shown in the following link: https://gyazo.com/08e2c83105acf2d6afc07acb41b65086. Could you please clarify which product is experiencing the issue?

    Hello Jack,

It appears that the Steel bowl is the only product where the form is visible, on the other product pages it is not. This is how the products with no review look – https://prnt.sc/oh3x_T4iWkSu

I tried checking the Settings, XStore Page builder, the sales booster (I’ve turned on the setting for adding photos with the review but there’s an issue with that as well – it shows that only logged in users can upload a picture but we do not allow user registration https://prnt.sc/jQ97UlFzB8gX )

Thank you again for your assistance!

    Best regards,
    Anastasia

    Hello @Anastasia,

We kindly requested that you provide us with a link to the product in question, as we were unable to locate it with a review. Additionally, we searched for the “Steel bowl” product on your website, but it appears that this product is not listed among your offerings.

We recommend that you verify the following settings for review configurations:
    https://yourwebsite.com/wp-admin/options-discussion.php (check private content)
Furthermore, we suggest reviewing the official WooCommerce documentation: https://woocommerce.com/document/product-reviews/

Please note that we have not found any product, whether accessed from a logged-in or incognito browser tab, that lacks a submit review section. It seems that all products are displayed correctly. If there is a specific product without a review section, we kindly ask you to provide the URL of such a product so that we can examine the product backend settings.

Regarding your inquiry about uploading images only for logged-in/registered customers, this requirement is imposed by the WordPress system to prevent spam from unauthorized users uploading multiple images. Consequently, submitting reviews without logging in is also not possible, making it logical to restrict posting review images to logged-in customers. If you wish to implement this functionality differently, you may disable our built-in feature and install a plugin that offers more advanced functionality tailored to your needs. Our features aim to cover the most basic universal functionality for all customers. We appreciate your understanding and respect for our position.

    Hi Jack,

I found the problem and it was not an issue with the theme. Apologies for bringing it here and wasting your time.
About the comments – I didn’t know that but it absolutely makes sense. I do respect your reasoning and I have zero issues with that.

Once again thank you for your assistance!

    Best wishes,
    Anastasia
