Xstore and woocommerce conflict - by urbanksj

Hi, theme Xstore and Woocommerce conflict in my website. installation was smooth but when i click woocommerce system status page on dashboard, it crash – it redirects to domain parking page.

it also conflicts with woocommerce square plugin, which I need for my store payment – when i hit the wordpress dashboard while the square plugin in activated, it redirects to domain parking page.

please help me, i purchased and likes xstore theme, but it screwed my website.

Hello,

Go to Appearance > Themes > Install and activate Storefront theme (default WooCommerce theme). Check if you have mentioned issues when the Storefront theme is activated. Let me know about results.
Also, check the server error log. Do you have any errors there? If yes then tell us what errors do you have there?

having storefront theme is totally fine. everything works great with it.

sorry, i don’t know where to find the server error log. i have a bunch of access.log files in my /logs folder in webhosting server but can’t read it.

Hello,

1) Provide us with WP Dashboard and FTP access to your site.
2) Contact your hosting provider to get the server error logs and then provide us these logs.

Hi, I can give you number 1) now and server error logs later – probably tomorrow morning when i can call or chat with them.

one more thing, my font seletion from theme options > typography doesn’t load properly. I want Lato for heading and body, but only homepage has right one. can you help me this issue as well?

Thanks for the reply. One of our technicians will be able to take a closer look at the mentioned problems from Monday (due to the weekend). Please provide the error log by that time, and do not change access.

Use any cloud service like Dropbox or something and provide us with a link to file.

Hello,

1) You provided an access log. We asked about error logs, it’s a different thing. Provide us with error logs of your server.

Because it looks like some issue from the server-side.

3) Check if everything is ok with your SSL certificate because Chrome displays secure connection but Stripe plugin does not detect SSL on your site http://prntscr.com/qtx3zc Solve this problem with your hosting provider.

hi,

1) i have enabled server error log few hours ago, and it’s still blank. i will provide you when there is something on it.

2) i talked to the hosting company back and forth, they said it is Xstore core plug in conflict. because when you turn off the core plugin, woocommerce status page loads well.

3) ssl not detected is solved, when i changed http to https in wordpress general setting URLs.

Hello,

Could you provide us with access to your cPanel? We have a feeling that PHP Memory limit was not increased to required 128Mb http://prntscr.com/qu4l17 or was changed incorrectly in server settings when we checked php.ini file https://prnt.sc/qu4loy and it caused the issue.

We are not sure that wp-config method works fine in your case. It would better to change it in server settings.

i am sure memory limit is 256MB, don’t know why you still have seen 40MB.

Hello,

When we check the PHP info at your site memory limit and post max size does not have measure http://prntscr.com/quk15x By default there should be measure value, for example, screenshot of other client settings https://prnt.sc/qukth4 Rules of the wp-config won’t change the real server settings if they are not ok.

Who changed these limits for you? You or your hosting support?

Also, try to increase the Max input vars to 3000.

Besides if the blank page appears then some error occurs. If the server error log is empty then maybe error logs are just disabled or enabled only for some kind of errors. Ask server support to enable it for all the errors and warnings to get any hint of what exactly in the plugin code may cause this issue. Because we have no more ideas on why it loads one time and does not load another one taking into account that Core plugin is enabled, and why the 500 errors appear for the admin-ajax.php https://gyazo.com/f9dc3bbcbb98af3cb342227a3248dd93

Okay, I am going to give up your Xstore theme. It takes too long to figure out the reason why it crashes and too many requirements to match to run the theme. I never had any theme that has this much trouble and often updates that makes website slow.

I have a project due date and all this troubleshooting is a hassle. Wish to get my money back.
