Since an theme update from 2-3 months ago, products made with WooCommerce Product Bundles stopped being able to be added to cart.
We spoke with plugin support they confirmed that problem is related to the theme.
We also tested:
1. Disabling all plugin – except XStore Core plugin – didn’t changed any thing. 2. Disabling the plugin, or changing Xstore theme to default theme – bundled product worked fine.
3. We tested with single product builder (old) and the new one (Elementor theme builder)
What is happening:
– In the provided URL bundled products can’t be added to cart
– Button “Add to Cart” is disabled. We suspect theme is blocking button.
– Product can be added only if both products in the bundle == 3.
– Can be chosen 1-2 quantities per item in the bundle.
Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.
We can’t log in – https://prnt.sc/uvVX9M98d3jv Please disable this additional Authentication.
Please record a video of the correct work when – Storefront (default WooCommerce theme) is activated.
Provide FTP access also.
To create FTP access (FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, FTP encryption) , please contact your hosting provider for assistance.
HI again, I added FTP access data, and made a record with your theme and xstore.
We appreciate your prompt response and videos, but we can’t connect FTP:
Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error: Could not connect to server
Please check it. Try to connect to FTP using FileZilla by yourself and provide us with the correct credentials.
Is there a restriction by IP or something else that doesn’t allow us to connect?
I couldn’t use FileZilla, as Its too limited and some of it’s features are security vulnerable, but I was able to connect to FTP via WinSCP with the data as provided.
Issue is somewhere else, not the credentials.
Maybe your location is far away from the server origin.
Thank you for getting back to us!
Upon checking your website, We could see that you’re using a child theme with a lot of customization and 3rd party plugins are active on your LIVE site now.
Since it’s a LIVE site, so we couldn’t test the plugin conlficts. May you please give us a permission to disable all plugins for testing or maybe better to create a DEV site so we can easily test?
We’ve just tested the WooCommerce Bundle Product plugin on my test site and it’s working fine without any issues. Here is the video: https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/video/22989268?key=33ea3a9086e17faa49949be0999c32e2
I made a server backup of sql and files. You can test on live.
Sorry for the late response!
We’ve tested the plugin conflicts but no lucks then We’ve added a HOT fix code to the functions.php file (from line 46 to 90) locates in your child theme:
Can you please check again?
Hi Luca, thank you for the fix, it solves the problem for now. Thank you!
We are delighted to hear that the fix has resolved the issue. If you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.
