Hi 8Theme Team,
I’m using XStore on my WooCommerce store and I’m running into a growing SEO issue caused by the theme’s Add to Cart and Compare buttons.
The Issue:
Each Add to Cart and Compare button generates a crawlable URL with query parameters (e.g., ?add-to-cart=184415, ?add_to_compare=215979). Google Search Console is showing an increasing number of these URLs under “Blocked by robots.txt,” and the count keeps climbing as my catalog grows, since these links are being generated as crawlable links rather than pure AJAX/JS-triggered actions.
What I need help with:
1. Does XStore support a setting to make Add to Cart and Compare buttons fully AJAX-based, so they don’t generate crawlable ?add-to-cart= / ?add_to_compare= URLs in the page HTML at all?
2. If not currently supported, is there a recommended/safe way within XStore (theme option, hook, or filter) to add rel=”nofollow” to these buttons without breaking cart functionality?
3. Is this something planned for a future update, given it likely affects most WooCommerce stores using XStore?

I’d like a fix that doesn’t require me to hand-edit functions.php or risk breaking the theme on the next update. Any guidance or a built-in setting would be appreciated.
Thanks.
