X-Store single product pages – adding buttons, editing add to cart popup etc.

Hi 8theme,

On the single product pages on X-Store;

1) Is there anyway to add other elements and buttons on the page (other than the standard add to cart/buy now buttons)?

For example, adding buttons which say “talk on WhatsApp” and then it opens a link for that.
We are trying to find a way to add more buttons versus the standard add to cart/buy now ones.

2) Is there anyway to add variables such as warranty add-ons which would be added to the cart total?

3) Can we edit the add to cart popup element which comes up when you add something to the cart?

4) Can we have information/elements show up once selected text is hovered over?

1/ Yes, it is indeed possible to add custom elements and buttons to your product pages, such as a “Talk on WhatsApp” button. This can typically be achieved through custom coding or by using a plugin that allows for the integration of such features. If you are not familiar with coding, we recommend using a plugin or seeking assistance from a professional developer.
Alternatively, you can create static blocks with the desired content and subsequently integrate them onto the page using the Single Product Builder’s HTML elements feature.

2/ Adding variables like warranty add-ons to the cart total can also be done. This usually involves setting up product variations or using a specific plugin. We are unable to recommend a specific plugin as we have not conducted official tests with such plugins in conjunction with our theme. We advise reaching out to the WooCommerce support team https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/ for recommendations on a plugin that would best suit your objectives.

3/ “Product Added Notification” can be selected via Theme Options > WooCommerce > Shop > Shop page layout, but there are no additiaonl settings for this.

4/ Unfortunately, our theme does not currently offer the option you have inquired about.

Hi Rose,

1) Thanks we will see what we can do, appreciate the feedback.

2) Oh okay, so external plugins would be needed. We will look for plugins that can help us do this.

3) If we wish to edit the popup cart or side cart, which show up when we add something to the cart – would require customization services?

4) Thanks for confirming, we will try to get this done via customization services from 8theme.
