    HI
I am using the standard Archives widget in my sidebar. Using the Grid setting for blog.

My default is set to have a right sidebar for all blog posts.

When I access the archives for a month, there is no sidebar.

How do I fix this to show the sidebar.

    Thanks

    Hello,

Please provide us with link to the page and wp-admin access in Private Content and we’ll look at this issue more deeply.

    Regards,
    Robert Hall.

    Hello

You may check your widget in appearance-widgets and inspect your page with browser developer tools or similar tool. Please let us know if your site become online. This will allow us to check the issue.

    With best regards

Theme used on an inhouse intranet system – will never be public. Cant give u access to localhost.

The widget I am using in the standard Archives WP widget – there are no settings to check.

What do I check for with developer tools? I can see that the Archives for the month are not showing the default template page for the archives – there is no sidebar. A normal post uses the exact same template and there is a sidebar automatically.

My default for blog is set to right sidebar and grid. The posts are in grid format but no sidebar when viewing archives.

I got around this problem for categories by creating a page with a shortcode for a single category – but I cannot do that with the posts archives for the months.

    Help please!

    Hello,

Unfortunately sidebar isn’t shown with Grid layout for blog page. You need select “Timeline” or “Small” layout in Theme Options > Blog Layout to make sidebar shown. Sorry for inconveniences.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
