Is the latest version of WooPress compatibly with WordPress 4.2.1 ?
I upgraded my dev site and are getting erros on cart / checkout page
I’m currentlyon v1.1, will v1.4 resolve this or should I wait for a new 4.2.1 compatible version?

There are lots of messages going around at the moment advising that wordpress should be running the latest version due to security risks, got a message from my hosting company the other day.

But if it breaks my site I would rather wait for an update from Eight Theme

I’m getting a error message on top of the screen when entering the cart / payment page.

I rolled back to a previous version so at the time I cannot reproduce it.
I also tested it with the default wordpress theme and al works fine.

Does it work on other sites? do you think it’s a only a issue on my website?

    Hello @rfrigge,

How can we replicate the issue?
Please update WordPress to be able for us to investigate the problem.

    Thank you.

8 theme need to make sure there theme is compatible with wordpress and other plugins, the latest visual composer is breaking my website so until the latest wordpress 4.2.1 works I’m not updating!

Too many things break with this theme, if your website is live like mine this is not ideal to be off line!

    @Eva (or any EightTheme employee),

Can you please answer my question:
Is WooPress version 1.4 on WordPress 4.2.1 working 100% correct on other installations?

A this Time I cannot ‘break’ my environment. If you asure me it is working 100% correct on other installations, so it’s an issue is specific to my website then I will install wordpress 4.2.1 again for futher investigation.

    Hello @rfrigge,

We tested new WordPress version and 1.4 Woopress version on demo sites and didn’t get any problems or errors.
You can update it, but always keep back up of the site.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

I am having issues also with my woocommerce and it’s really frustrating. First we thought it was 2co not syncing but apparently it’s a theme error.

I also have on the top of my screen “Your theme has bundled outdated copies of WooCommerce template files. If you notice an issue on your site, this could be the reason. Please contact your theme developer for further assistance. ”

So I need further assistance… because this has to work!

    Hello @chemaine,

As I see your site is working fine.
Please clarify the issue with more details. What errors are you getting?
Also this message “Your theme has bundled outdated copies…” won’t affect your site work.
We edited woocommerce templates in wp-content/themes/woopress/woocommerce and old version can be written in some files, but it doesn’t affect the site at all.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
