    Dear WooPress Support,

I would like to create my home page so it is exactly like the one displayed in your sidebar-boxed variation:

    https://www.8theme.com/demo/woopress/sidebar-boxed/

I cannot figure out how to get the left hand menu that says SHOP BY DEPARTMENTS into place. Can you please direct me?

    Thank you kindly, Erin

    Hello,

We can’t access your site getting “Forbidden” error.
Please remove the restrictions so we’ll be able to enter wp-admin panel.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hello,

Unfortunately we’re still getting the error:

Please change permissions for “dev” folder or ask your host to check if there are any restriction on a server or perhaps you’re using some plugin that blocks access.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hi Jack,

I sent your message along to my host company and they asked: Can you request that they provide their IP so I can look in the firewall?

I can also send you screenshots of what mine looks like as well as the demo of what I would like it to look like…

    Sorry this is proving difficult.

    Thank you, Erin

Your IP address has been added to the white list so hopefully that will allow you access.

    Thank you very much, Erin

    Hello,

Sidebar on our demo is created with help of Product Categories element in Visual Composer editor. Select proper row layout to divide it into 2 columns and add Product Categories element to the first column:

I have added the side bar but need to format it like yours – with the red background for SHOP BY DEPARTMENTS and the red outline around the sidebar. Could you please either tell me how to do that, or also, I am happy to look at the demo content. I do not have this particular page in my demo content, and it would be very helpful to look at. Is there a way I can get this page? Thank you once again for all your help.

    Dear Jack,

Yes it is, thank you! I needed to install the side-bar boxed page in order to see how the Product Categories were set up. Turns out, the row needed this class “category-1” in order to show the border color.

Is there support documentation that shows the various classes that can be applied to components? That was hard to find, and I would never have been able to do it without the example… it would be great if the classes were listed somewhere for reference.

Thank you so much for your support! All best, Erin

    Hello,

Unfortunately such classes aren’t written in the documentation. Actually they should be added in pages by default when you import templates via Theme Options > Import/Export.

If there are any questions feel free to contact us.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.
