Hello, I have recently published a new website using the Woopress theme. In an effort to improve page load times I have tried using W3 Total Cache as recommended in threads on this forum, however this interfered with the shopping cart functionality.

Given it has been suggested as suitable third party product, can you please advise the various cache settings that will work best with the Woopress theme, without compromising any functionality?

On Monday, I changed from using a US based host and Cloudflare to using a local NZ / AU based host, however this has not made as big an improvement as expected.
Using webpagetest.org and a local server I can see that the composer plugin is taking 4 seconds to load and the ultimate addons plugin is taking 6 seconds.

Can these be deactivated when not editing the site without any negative effects?

    Regards,

    Premium Petware.

    Hello,

If you built your site without those plugins then you can disable them, but if you used them when creating pages then your content will be broken without the plugins.

Hello, thank you. I’ll leave those alone in that case.

Regarding the first part of my Thread, do you have any caching configuration recommendations that will not affect the shopping cart (cart totals would not update as items were added / removed)?

    Hello,

Try to deactivate “cache object” option in the plugin settings. After that clear browser cache and check shopping cart then.
