Woocommerce update - by GL Makeup - on WordPress WooCommerce support

Dear 8theme,

I use Legenda 3.0.3 and I updated Woocommerce to 3.2.6. It caused some issue.

1. There are a lot of outdated WC file in system
2. About variable products you could not add different variatons after each other into cart. I mean for example you can add color 500 but after you can not add 510 color because it always refresh the page but nothing happens.
And it do not change variation image when you select a variation.
And so far you can see the name of the selected color variation in the cart but now you can see only the product name. It will confuse the customers.

I can see the latest theme version is compatibile with WC 3.2.0.

1., Do you think the theme update can solve the problem?

2., If yes can I update the WC part separately somehow? I dont want to update the whole theme because I made some changes and not all with custom file

3., If the update can not help how can I solve the problem?

Hello,

If you use latest version of WC plugin you need to use latest version of theme (3.4 version of legenda theme is fully compatible with WC 3.2.6).
Update WC part separately requests additional customization in files and we can’t help you with this (additional customization questions are outside the scope of our support – https://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy).
In your case, it would be better to create a child theme and transfer changes into child theme, to prevent losing it after theme update.

Dear Rose,

Thank you very much for your help. I created a custom.css file and updated the theme for the latest version. It has fantastic new features and works almost perfect. With some small issues, please help to fix it:

1., On desktop on single product page the main image flash then disapper. Other images and variation images can show and zoom effect also works but default you can not see the main image.

Some images changed to malformed in zoom effect, please check the girl face also on this link above.

2., About variable product in cart you can see the product name and the selected variation, for example red. But on checkout page you can see only the product name whitout variation. It can confuse some customers.

As I remember it worked in last version. And in your demo checkout page you can see also the product name and variation name.

3., On my homapage if you scroll down you can see SMINK WEBSHOP – SMINK TIPPEK. I use post grid element here. When I logged in as an admin it load fine. But in incognito mode for first ok, but after it can not load at all. I think it is a cache problem, I empty the cache but does not help.

Sorry for the delay due to the weekends.
Please update all required plugins to latest version that you may find here https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/
You use a lot of different plugins, so to be sure that problems are related to the theme files and we able to help, try to disable all 3-rd party plugins.
Let me know result.

Dear Rose,

thank you for the idea.

1., 1., and 3., problem fixed

I swicthed off all 3rd plugin and switch on step by step.

The Lazy load plugin causes the problem. I deactivated it and the site works fine.

It helped to fasten the site. Can you recommend any stable plugin instead for this according to Legenda?

2., About problem 2.

Can it works ot already not in the new version?

You may try to use BJ Lazy Load or a3 Lazy Load plugins.
2. I’ve checked cart and checkout pages, and see, that you are right, even on my test site with the latest theme version, variations visible on cart page, but not on checkout.
I’ve added this request to our task list, so I hope it will be changed in next theme update.

The “items for” in cart set back to English.

I’ve installed Loco Translate plugin and transfer your hu_HU.mo, hu_HU.po files from legenda/languages folder to wp-content/languages/themes folder and renamed to legenda-hu_HU.mo, legenda-hu_HU.po.
Please check now http://prntscr.com/hy2oa8.
Button Sync (Loco Translate plugin – http://prntscr.com/hy2p42) allows you to synchronize your translation file with updated pot file. It means if we made any changes in template files that may affect transaltion or we added new string for the translation and you updated theme you need to synchronize your translation with updated files. Only after synchronization you’ll be able to translate new strings or strings that were changed. You may lose only strings that were changed.
Also, don’t forget to backup all the files before any update.
