Woocommerce- "The plugin does not have a valid header"

Can someone help me with why this plugin isn’t working?

Php 5.6
wordpress 4.4
sql – unknown but probably correct.

The theme and all plugins install just fine but when I activate the WOOcommecre plugin i get this error “The plugin does not have a valid header”.
