I am having a strange issue. It only happens in two categories so not to all my products. When you either refresh the page or go back to a product you viewed before, the product image blinks and then switches to the first image in the product gallery. So for me it doesn’t look good as the product image is turning into the back of the person instead of the front of the person.

It isn’t a plugin issue as I deactivated all plugins not theme related and it still happens.

Do you have any idea why this is happening? I hope you can help!

    Hello,

Sorry, but your question is a bit unclear for me. Could you please describe actions to re-create the problem step by step?

Sorry, okay if you click on the link I shared then go to another page and return back to that page the main product image switches to the first image in the image carousel and is no longer the product image that it is supposed to be.

This is wp-admin access, but we need FTP access (FTP hostname, FTP username, FTP password). Ask your hosting provider support to create FTP account to your site files and give us the credentials.

    Hello,

Please see these screenshots – http://prntscr.com/inxx19 > http://prntscr.com/inxx7q For this product you set “Default Form Values” – M, M variation has a different image as the main image for the product.

Okay this is helpful. I do not set that, it is automatically synced with another website where the items are designed and then pushed to my woocommerce via a plugin. Does this mean that the issue is coming from their developers? When I wrote them initially they said it was an issue with my theme.

Actually, even if I change the default image in the Medium size it only shows once, as soon as I put my mouse over the lightbox it switches to the next image and doesn’t come back to the original one.

The developers of the site said that there is an issue with the lightbox on mouseover.

Sorry but your problem is a bit unclear for me. Please check how this works with the default woocommerce theme – Storefront.

When you initially visit this page: https://joyinfusion.store/product/black-long-leggings-with-flower-border/

The proper image shows at first which is the front of the woman. When you hover over the image to zoom in, it switches to the back of her. If you refresh the page or go to another page and then back to that one, it doesn’t show the front of her anymore, just the back of her. You have to delete cash and then refresh to get the front picture to reload.

still switches and doesn’t work but I do notice a difference it now takes alot longer for the page to load, like 20 or 30 seconds.

oh wait, actually if I delete the cache and try again it seems to work, but still takes a while for the page to load. It also only seems to work on that page the other products still don’t work and all pages take a long time to load.

Your changes don’t make an effect on loading speed. I’ve checked your site and do not see changes in the load time. Please check your internet connection.
If you want to get rid the effect of image changing while product load https://gyazo.com/b1434f360eed573118c6cbaacc3d99c8 you need to disable zoom effect in Theme options or remove default variation value – http://prntscr.com/io41tv

okay yes my internet connection was failing.

So is this zoom issue something wrong with woocommerce, this template or the site that pushes the information to woocommerce for the products?

also, if it was an issue with the zoom how come it doesn’t affect every item, only certain categories?
