    Hi there,

For all the orders on my website, the origin is unknown. I cannot see what brought a buyer to my website.
I know this is WooCommerce related, but I’m still contacting you. That’s because I have another website running WooCommerce with the exact same setting for both cookies and WooCommerce itself. On that website I can see the origin of an order. This makes me assume it has something to do with XStore.
Could it possibly be something with the order of loading? If not, can you please take a look and give me your thoughts? I have included credentials below.

    Thanks for your time.

    Hi there,

The account should work now, my apologies.

If you go too WooCommerce -> Orders there is a order list. The most right column is “Origin”. It usually provides information on referral locations. For example, a clickthrough from facebook or google would show: “Referral: m.facebook.com” or “Organic: Google”.
    I’m now missing that information.

The issue is similar to this: https://www.8theme.com/topic/woocommerce-origin-attributes-stopped-working/

    Thanks for your time.

    Hello @Frank,

After reviewing the order columns, we found that the column mentioned in your request is generated by the WooCommerce plugin (see: https://prnt.sc/fywEaHQRy4LS). As our support team is responsible only for our own products, we kindly recommend that you refer to the plugin documentation (https://woocommerce.com/document/order-attribution-tracking/) to verify whether the plugin settings are configured correctly. Alternatively, you may submit your inquiry on the official WooCommerce support forum: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce.

We have also found some useful topics:

Thank you for your understanding and for respecting our support policy.

    Best regards,

    Hello @Frank,

Thank you for your message and for sharing the details of your situation.

Please note that our theme does not modify or affect the content of the order columns. For this reason, we have reviewed the WooCommerce source code and previously shared several discussions from other users who are not using the XStore theme but are experiencing the same issue with the unknown refer type.

If you still believe the issue might be related to our theme, we kindly ask you to test it using a default WordPress theme such as Storefront (Appearance → Themes). If the same behavior occurs with the default theme, this would indicate that the problem is not caused by XStore. In that case, we recommend contacting the WooCommerce support team for further assistance: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/

    Kind regards,
    Jack Richardson
