I recently upgraded my site to all current version of wordpress, theme (2.3) and plugins (woo 2.4.8) VC (4.8)
I have found a bug, where products are not getting added to the cart. The pop up states that it has been successfully added, but the cart icon in the top right does not show the update. If I go to the shopping cart it says nothing is there.
Deactivating Visual Composer seems to fix the issue. Are you aware of this bug and is there a patch for it? This was reported by a customer trying to make a purchase. My client can duplicate it and I can duplicate it consistently (Tried in both FF and Chrome).

As I see you’re using old versions for Ultimate VC Addons, Essential Grid, Revolution Slider plugins.
Please update them https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .
If the issue still persists please provide us with FTP credentials.

I have removed revslider (not used) and updated essential grid and Ultimate VC. Unfortunately I am still seeing the same problem. Deactivating Visual Composer and it adds products to the cart. With VC active it says its added to the cart, but there is nothing in the cart.

Sorry, but we can’t connect via FTP getting the error:
Status: Connection attempt failed with “EAI_NONAME – Neither nodename nor servname provided, or not known”.
Error: Could not connect to server
Do you use any FTP port or any special settings?

I have reverted to VC 4.7.4 and the issue is resolved.
If you could please post here when the fix has been released I would really appreciate it.
