I’ve tried everything since the new WooCommerce update launched. I waited until 4.1 was launched and have now updated to 4.1.1 and still having the same issue. My thumbnails are set in Customizer at 180 thumb and 355 for main image. My Media sizes are set at 300×300 thumbnails, 500×500 medium, 700×700 large. Obviously I’ve been playing with different sizes to see what will work but none of these work. If you go to the site, you’ll see that the thumbnail size on the product page is larger than the actual uploaded image size. Even if I click on the zoom function, the images are the correct size. Please assist me as I’ve been working on this since 4.0 was announced mid February. I’ve been trying what have been replied in the forums but nothing has worked for me thus far.

    Hello,

These changes are related to WooCommerce plugin 3.3.3 update. Before 3.3 version WooCommerce had options for every type of image – single product, catalog and gallery image. In version 3.3 WC developers changed options and moved them to the customizer. In version 3.3.3 they removed image settings at all even from customizer.

We keep the previous version of their settings http://prntscr.com/ik093w But 8theme product widgets and gallery images use WP thumbnails size (Settings > Media) because WC customizer does not have the individual settings for this because of 3.3 update. So, if you don’t want to crop thumbnails images disable crop in WP settings and regenerate thumbnails.

You may also try to change image settings using WC hooks that WC developers offer https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/wiki/Customizing-image-sizes-in-3.3-

    Regards
