    Hello,

    I need help with a fresh XStore setup on a staging domain.

    My staging site:
    tests.divani.pl

    Current environment:

    * WordPress 6.9.4
    * PHP 8.2.30
    * XStore 9.7
    * XStore Core 5.7
    * WooCommerce 10.6.1

    The theme and child theme are active.
    XStore Core is active.
    WooCommerce is installed, but it cannot be activated.

    When I click “Activate” for WooCommerce, WordPress shows:
    “The plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”

    This is a fresh test installation. The issue appears before any real site building has started.

    Important details from Site Health:

    * PHP version: 8.2.30
    * Server memory_limit: 2048M
    * WP_MEMORY_LIMIT: 40M
    * WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT: 2048M
    * HTTPS is currently not enabled on the staging domain
    * Active plugins at the moment include Elementor, XStore Core, Contact Form 7, MC4WP
    * PRO Elements was also tested and then disabled during troubleshooting

    I also found a similar topic on your forum called:
    “Fatal Error while trying to activate woocommerce”
    So I would like to ask whether this is a known issue in XStore setup flow or a compatibility problem with the current versions. ([8THEME][1])

    Please let me know:

    1. what exactly should be checked first,
    2. whether WP_MEMORY_LIMIT = 40M may be the cause here,
    3. whether there is any known compatibility issue between XStore 9.7 and WooCommerce 10.6.1,
    4. whether you recommend a clean reinstall of WooCommerce or any specific patch/fix before activation.

    If needed, I can provide full Site Health info and temporary access.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    The situation you describe is unique.

    Could you please test if the same issue occurs when using a default theme, such as Storefront? (Appearance — Themes).
    If the behavior continues regardless of the theme being used, it suggests that the problem may not be related to the theme itself. In this case, we would recommend you contact support of woocommerce plugin – https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/

    Could you please provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access? We will check what can be done to help you.
    To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.

    For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

    Warm Regards,
    The 8Theme Team
