Woocommerce Checkout State Dropdown Issue

I just installed the latest version of XStore and during the checkout process, the state field become a text field instead of a select dropdown. This leads to no shipping options because the shipping algo is based on weight and state.

for this information.

Hello,

If you use 5.1.1 theme version, you need to update XStore Core plugin to latest version (1.1.6).
Also, please describe in more details what exactly needs to be done to recreate the problem on the Checkout page.

Latest WooCommerce version 3.5.1 shows State as a text input field. I’m currently using 3.4.7 as a solution.

Hello,

Our theme inherits WC functionality. If something works fine with Storefront (default WC theme) but doesn’t work with our theme, contact us and we will help.

Yes, other WooCommerce theme works with updated WooCommerce version and yours does not regarding State dropdown.

Hello,

We don’t have described issue on our test installation and you are the first who reported about this issue, so, I suppose problem is related to some settings or plugins that you use. Anyway, we want to help you to solve the problem. Can you, please, update theme and plugin on your site and provide me temporary Dashboard and FTP access to your site to check and help you?
Or maybe create a staging site where we’ll be able to check the issue.
