    Hi XStore Support,

We’re using WooCommerce Auctions Pro and recently noticed that bids no longer work. Instead of placing a bid, the site redirects to the cart, and no bid is recorded.

    We confirmed:

The auction system worked perfectly before the last XStore theme update

It still works fine using the Storefront theme

Re-hooking woocommerce_auction_bid_form and using shortcodes do not fix the issue in XStore

Can you check what changed in the latest XStore version that may have affected WooCommerce custom product types (like auction)?

We’d appreciate a patch, fix, or workaround so auction bidding can function correctly again. Thank you!

    How to Replicate the Issue:
    1. Go to this test auction product:
    https://c258c6bb17.nxcli.io/product/fuente-fuente-opus-x-perfecxion-a/
    2. Log in using your admin credentials (found in the private section of this ticket).
    3. Scroll down and attempt to place a bid.
Issue: Instead of registering the bid, the site redirects to the cart as if the user clicked “Add to Cart.” No bid is placed.

We confirmed this behavior only occurs with the latest XStore version. When using the Storefront theme, bidding works as expected.

Please also find the admin and ftp credentials on the private content area. Thank you so much!

    Hello @regencycigaremporium,

We hope this message finds you well.

We kindly ask you to check the functionality now. In our Version 9.5.1 / Core plugin 5.5.1 update (https://xstore.8theme.com/update-history/), we have enhanced the built-in Ajax “Add to Cart” feature on single product pages to support all product types more effectively.

As part of this improvement, we have updated our code to exclude the product type “ignitewoo_auction,” which was configured in the backend settings. For your reference, please see the following screenshot: https://prnt.sc/WUQ90_A1r8mt.

Attached below is the updated file containing this fix. If the issue has been resolved on your staging site, you may proceed to upload the file to your live website.

Should you have any further questions or require assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson
