Hey there,
I noticed the WooCommerce Plugin recently updated to 2.6 with major updates. Just making sure the Royal Theme is fully compatible with v2.6 before I update the WooCommerce Plugin via the WP Admin Panel.
Unless another Royal Theme Update is coming soon to include WooCommerce Updates? If so, I’ll wait. Let me know. Thanks!
I’m interested in this as well, I’d like to upgrade to WooCommerce 2.6 but I know Royal will need template updates.
Also, since upgrading to the most recent version of Royal customers are forced to register or login before checking out (even though I have guest checkout enabled). Is this integrated into Royal or an issue with WooCommerce?
Me too, i have updated woocommerce and now is my payment button not working. So i’m waiting for the update van the Royal theme
Hello,
The theme will be updated during 1-2 weeks.
We recommend you to keep old Woocommerce version for now till update is released.
@Lisateamo, contact your hosting provider support and ask them to restore your site from the latest backup.
@kw13, to remove registration on Checkout you need edit the file wp-content/themes/royal/woocommerce/checkout/checkout-form.php and comment lines 13-25:
if ( is_user_logged_in() ) {
} else { ?>
<div class="check-user">
</div>
<?
et_register_form();
wp_login_form( array() );
return;
}

Good thing I asked first! Thanks Eva Kemp. I’ll wait for the Royal Theme’s Update then and I’l leave the current version as is. Although I did update the other plugins such as the YITH Zoom, Compare, etc. I don’t think that’s effected, only the main Woocommerce Plugin, correct?
Hello @khoavo,
Yes, you’re correct.

Eva Kemp.
I just got the notification for ROYAL Theme Update dated June 27, 2016. Are there any known issues after this update for this to be compatible with the latest WooCommerce v2.6.1 update?
You’ve updated your WooCommerce folder I assume? I will update this using the same process via FTP: Delete the “WooCommerce” folder inside the “Royal” folder. Then overwrite the entire “Royal” folder, then select Save under Them Options.
Let me know on this before I proceed. Thanks.
Hello @khoavo,
You can update the theme to the latest version, but create a back up before.
The process you described is correct, so you may proceed with the update.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
I have updated Royal and WC to 2.6.1 and I’m still seeing 5 outdated templates on the WC status screen:
royal/woocommerce/content-product.php version 2.5.0 is out of date. The core version is 2.6.1,
royal/woocommerce/content-product_cat.php version 2.5.2 is out of date. The core version is 2.6.1,
royal/woocommerce/myaccount/form-edit-address.php version 2.1.0 is out of date. The core version is 2.6.0,
royal/woocommerce/myaccount/form-login.php version 2.2.6 is out of date. The core version is 2.6.0,
royal/woocommerce/myaccount/my-address.php version 2.2.0 is out of date. The core version is 2.6.0,
Please advise.
Hello,
our theme uses modified Woocommerce template files so it is normal that some file versions may be outdated. It is not bug and does not have effect on front-end.
You may just skip this notification.

I’ve successfully updated the Royal Theme & WooCommerce Plugin, Thank you.
Question: WooCommerce 2.6.1 is displaying a message suggesting I download the SIMPLIFY plugin from the WordPress.org since SIMPLIFY will be removed from future WooCommerce Plugin. I still see the SIMPLIFY Tab under the CHECKOUT Tab. I can’t install the SIMPLIFY Plugin from WP since SIMPLIFY is already install within the WooCommerce Plugin.
Was that just a warning message? Should I just wait? What happens to my SIMPLIFY settings if this transition takes place? Thanks.
Hello @khoavo,
Please provide WP-admin access to check the issue.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
That warning message is no longer there. I still see SIMPLIFY as an option under the CHECKOUT Tab in WooCommerce. Are you aware of WooCommerce planning to remove SIMPLIFY from it’s plugin in the future?
I guess I’ll just leave it as is for now until I see the warning message again.
Hello @khoavo,
In this case you need contact Woocommerce support regarding your query.

Eva Kemp.
All good. I’ll deal with it the next time I see that warning message. Thanks.
Hello,
You’re welcome!
