Without Visual Composer and Revolution Slider

Can the Legenda wordpress theme function without the visual composer and the revolution slider plugin? I had the site infected with malware one week ago inspite of updated versions of visual composer and revolution slider plugin installed. I reverted to an earlier theme version and I am currently doing a fresh update of the theme and plugins once again. Let me see if it works. If not, I just want to know if the theme can function without the revolution slider and visual composer installed?

I am using the rev slider only for the slider images on the home page (which I can do away with) and hardly use the visual composer. My url is as below,

Hello,

Yes, theme can function without these plugins, but if you used Visual Composer editor to create pages before, then you have to recreate them, because when you delete the plugin Visual Composer code will remain on pages.
