    Hello,

Try to change the permissions for plugins folder to 755 or 777 and check if it helps. If it doesn’t, please provide us with FTP and wp-admin panel credentials.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hello,

Please try to upload the plugin folder via FTP into the wp-content/plugins directory. Then you’ll be able to activate it in admin panel.
Otherwise you have to contact Woocommerce support and ask for the help with the plugin installation as we provide support only to the issues referred to our theme.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

It’s not a woocommerce issue as I can use woocommerce on any other theme. I just wiped out the entire directory completely, did a fresh new install accross the board and still came up with this error…again.

    Downloading install package from https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/woocommerce.2.1.9.zip…

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the plugin…

    Could not create directory. /home2/rickabyd/public_html/petesappliance/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/logs

    Plugin install failed.

    Return to Plugin Installer

It absolutely refuses to cooperate, and this is only since upgrading the new theme.

    Please help.

    Hello,
We asked FTP access too. But we have checked and this is not our theme problem and especially it’s not related with theme update. You can activate any default theme and try to install plugin. You’ll see the same issue. Very likely this is permissions problem. Contact with you hosting provider to sort out.
