    Hi,

I thought my website was running good, however, some close friends of mine who visited the website (www.kysowear.com) told me it keeps bugging out on them. I had them take two screen shots (one shows how the website bugs out on them website while the other screen shot is how it looks when you click on a product).

He says sometimes it works while other times it completely bugs out.

    Here are the screenshots: http://imgur.com/a/OEwQR

I have no idea what to do and I’m beyond stressed. I’m close to investing heavily in products for my business but I can’t if my website isn’t stable enough.

Please, I have no idea what is going on and I’m not sure how to fix this.

bump for visibility. It has something to do with my SSL, it’s doing https for main page when it should be doing http not https. Not sure how to fix it.

an update: If you go to the shop page, it loads products and my logo as https links (it shouldn’t), if you change the sorting of the products to anything else, everything goes back to normal.

    Hello,

Have you changed the links to https when you installed SSL certificate?
Please provide us with FTP access.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

We need FTP credentials, not only for wp-admin panel.
If you don’t know where to find FTP login details you can ask your host.

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hello,

As I see now your site isn’t redirecting to https links.
    Have you removed the redirect?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

I’m not sure what you mean about removing the redirect. You asked for my log-in info, I thought you were going to check because I have little to no knowledge of WordPress.

    Hello,

I’ve tried to add a redirect rule in .htaccess file from http to https, but your site gave an error: “This page isn’t redirected properly”.

You should contact your host and ask them for the help to set up redirects to https links.

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hey,

I contacted my host and he said, “Unfortunately setting up redirects in .htaccess files is outside the scope of hostgator support”

I’m not sure where to go from here, people are unable to checkout as well (not taking them to checkout page). Haven’t had any sales in the past 3 days due to this issue. I’ve spent $60 on this theme and $100 on hosting, $10 on domain and I’m just working a part-time right now with expenses to pay. It’s my fault for investing most of my capital but I just never thought I would run into all these issues back to back to back :/

I would really appreciate some help, I have no one else to turn to.

    Hello,

We’re sorry but we tried to configure redirects to https in .htaccess file, though it’s not the theme issue.
We recommend you to contact a web-developer for https links configuration.

Please take our apologies for such troubles.

    Thank you.
    Regards,

I’m talking to hostgator and support went ahead and changed the theme to show that SSL certificate is working fine and that the issue is coming from the theme.

So the fix would be to configure redirects to https?

(1:43:10pm)Brian J.:There is not a fix on the server side that would solve this issue, correct. The issue is with your wordpress and theme configuration.
    (1:43:34pm)Serafin Mora:okay thanks brian
(1:43:35pm)Brian J.:The SSL is installed and functioning without errors.

    Hello,

Your site links should be redirected from http to https.
I tried to set redirects in .htaccess file but got the error on the site “The page isn’t redirected properly”. Perhaps some rules are not allowed in .htaccess file at your hosting company.
If you change the theme to default WordPress theme and try to open the site via https://kysowear.com/ you’ll see it’s redirected back to http://kysowear.com/ .
So redirects don’t work even with default WordPress theme.
In this case you’d better contact some developer who will provide more information concerning https redirects.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
