    Hi there,

I hope you can help with the following:

    1) I am in the process of installing the theme to used a multivendor website and it’s asking me which prebuilt theme to use. I am looking to use a the Dokan Or Multivendorx prebuilt theme. However when I search for Dokan or MultivendorX prebuilt themes in the installation phase, no themes show up?

Which prebuilt theme do I select ? When I was reviewing the prebuilt themes originally (https://xstore.8theme.com/#demos-content) I was presented with 4 mutlivendor themes of which one was a Dokan Prebuilt Multivendor theme, Multivendorx ( and also WCFM) prebuilt themes were offered as a solution.

I was looking to implement https://xstore.8theme.com/demos/2/dokan/store/pacific-health-foods/

It’s not ideal, as I am setting up a chocolate and coffee gift store and require shades of brown in the design. However it has a clean layout which I like and would then have to customise.

    2) Also, can you kindly let me know what the difference is from a marketplace/mega store and a multi-vendor prebuilt theme. I am looking to help others sell on my site as well sell some of my own products.

    3) How easy is it to switch pre built templates from one template to another, if you realise the one you have installed is not suitable.

    4) Are there any videos on filters for the product results page? My key question is can a horizontal filter be place on any product search results page.

    5) Finally, Which of the pre built templates is the lightest weight/ fastest loading one of the multi-vendor themes ?

    Thank you.

    Kind Regards

    Hello @ozzy00200,

    1. You may use any of our available demos for the import process. Regarding multi-vendor functionality, you can install and use multi-vendor plugins such as Dokan, WCFM, or other supported options alongside our demos. These plugins are fully compatible with our theme and will help you create a multi-vendor marketplace. The demo you mentioned serves only as an example of the layouts and design options our theme provides for such plugins. Please note that you will need to configure any of multi-vendor plugin (you choose) settings according to your specific requirements by following the plugin’s documentation.

    2. The main difference between a Marketplace/Mega Store and a Multi-Vendor prebuilt theme lies in their functionality and layout focus. Marketplace or Mega Store demos are designed for large product catalogs managed by a single vendor, while Multi-Vendor demos are optimized for use with vendor plugins such as Dokan, WCFM, or MultivendorX, allowing multiple sellers to manage their own stores within your site.

    3. We have the Content Reset feature (https://gyazo.com/91ef1e4c5bcb6f6ce7c9536c7617c44a) provided by our theme. You can install any demo version you prefer, test it, remove its content, and then install another one. However, we recommend performing this process on a fresh WordPress installation or after creating a full backup. Importing a new demo over an existing one may result in content duplication or layout conflicts.

    4. You can use any available Elementor widgets, either the default ones or those provided by our theme (https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor/demos/minimal-fashion02/design-elements/). In particular, you may use the Product Filters widget if you wish to implement custom-built filters (https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor/demos/minimal-fashion02/product-filters-element/). You can create pages such as the Search Results, Archive Products, Specific Product Category, Single Product, Single Post, and Blog templates using our XStore Builders and customize them as desired. For more details, please refer to our documentation: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/xstore-builders/.

    5. All of our demos are optimized; however, please note that some demos may include around 20 sample products, less count of media files, while others may feature up to 50 items, and many different media and other sources. Similarly, some homepages contain minimal content, while others include longer pages with multiple sections. As a result, loading times may vary depending on the amount of content.

    Best regards,

    Hi Jack,

Thank you for your help – much appreciated.

    4) I was looking for documentation on it to clarify a couple of queries – for example what is the maximum number of filters, before the site slows down or complications arise. Similarly, are there ways of making it sticky.

    6) On the product category section – how does it work with sub categories. Is there any document- on sub product categories and how they will appear. For example I want to create a category of budgets, then sub-category of price ranges

    7) If I have RankMath do I need to switch off the Xstore SEO setting to avoid any conflict ?

    8) Is there a Ready made phone app (Android or iOS) that this is compatible with ( or is there one in the pipeline) through something like Flutter.

    9) The Dokan plugin that it comes with – is that the free version or a pro version ?

    10) I am hosting with Siteground and it provides a plugin called Site Optimizer. I also see that Xstore offers something to speed up the site. I am assuming that they both optimise different aspects and it won’t cause any hosting issues, (I have used Flatsome inbuilt optimisation before when I used to use that theme and had no conflict then – but don’t want to take a risk if there is a history of issues – planning to move over to Xstore as it has multivendor integration which Flatsome doesn’t ( have bought 4 licences of Xstore)

    Thanks and Kind Regards

    Hello @ozzy00200,

4/ The slow query is not related to the number of filters. You can have up to 20 filters with fast performance or only 2–3 filters with slow performance if your server is configured with minimal settings. Therefore, we recommend ensuring that your server meets our theme’s configuration requirements (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/xstore-theme-requirements/). You may also review Elementor’s requirements here: https://prnt.sc/lwUOl0iO5ugJ (https://elementor.com/help/elementor-widget-panel-not-loading/). Each widget in Elementor includes functionality that allows it to be made sticky: https://prnt.sc/Zb9xf_b4Fmio

6/ You can create different layouts with unique content and designs for the main shop page, specific categories, or all category pages. This can be done by setting different conditions for templates in the Elementor builder. More details can be found here: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/xstore-builders/xstore-products-archive-builder-with-elementor/

7/ If you are using a plugin that provides SEO functionality, it is recommended to disable the built-in SEO settings.

8/ Unfortunately, such functionality is not yet available.

9/ Our theme includes a free version of the Dokan plugin.

10/ You are correct; these are different optimization aspects. Some of our optimization settings are designed for local theme improvements, while the SEO optimization focuses on global website performance, Elementor content, and asset loading. Both can be used together effectively.

Thank you for your kind words. We are always striving to improve our products to better serve our customers.

    Best regards,
