Good afternoon,
I am running WordPress French 4.5.1 with woocommerce 2.5.5
I have 2 questions related to Royal Theme:
I am looking for the French translation of the default.po file, I checked the theme zip file but could not find it, any idea where I can find one ?
Secondly I would like to remove the “En,Fr,De £,$, located on the left top bar ?, where can I change it ?
Thank in advance,
Hello,
To remove “En,Fr,De £,$” go to Appearance > Widgets and add empty Text widget into “Left Side top bar area”.
Unfortunately we don’t have French translation. You have to translate the theme according to the documentation https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/#!/1_how_to_translate .

Thank You Eva for your quick answer.
I opened the default PO file with POedit, there are close to 1240 messages to translate; it looks like to me a show stopper considering the time required to translate all messages. I will most likely consider another option for my Customer.
Kind Regards,
Jean
Hello,
You can try to use some translation plugins but we don’t guarantee their full compatibility with the theme.

Jack Richardson.
Hi Jack,
Thanks for the suggestion, I will investigate, do you have one plugin to suggest, keeping in mind it might not be fully compatible with Royal ?
Kind Regards,
Jean
Hello,
You may try to use Loco Translate plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/ .
Also you can search for other plugins yourself.
