When updating product variations error - by frmaninc

    hi

    when we are updating product variations, like prices and colours. It will not be successful at first, it ran for a long time and nothing happen. And we need to refresh the page, and than the system will capture the update.
    But the update can only be done one at a time, when multiple variations are input the system will only capture one only. hence updated has become time consuming.

    we tried to disable plugin to check for conflicts but to no success

    Hello,

    I’ve checked your site and saw the same situation with official WooCommerce theme – Storefront.
    When I disabled all 3rd-party plugins, updating product variations got working.
    Now I’ve activated them back. You can deactivate them one by one to find the needed plugin.

    hi

    We are now having issue with

    1) the media file uploader. it is showing the page below instead of the usual grip format. Even when we use this format the new product image does not load.

    2.) Single product page seem disable, can’t add prices and attributes.
    3.) the return and exchange/reviews/additional product information was somehow reset to default and unable click in the single product page.
    4.) The single product page image is also not able to zoom when the mouse is hovering above it.

    please advise.

    Hello,

    Compatibility of our theme with WC 3.0 will be added in a new theme update. Don’t update WC plugin before theme update. If you have already done this, please, downgrade WC plugin version or wait for the next theme update.
    Also, before update any plugin you need to be sure that theme and other plugins that you use are compatible with the new version.

    Is the update ready? Reading from the forum, seem like there were more than 1 update. Which is the latest? I received only 1 email notification from envato on 7 April.

    Hello,

    You can update the theme to 3.0.1 version and WooCommerce to 3.0.1.
    You can follow:
    – Create backup of your files and database before starting update process
    – Activate default theme (Appearance > Themes > install and activate Storefront theme – official WC theme), update WooCommerce plugin and DB
    – Reupload our theme version on FTP
    – Activate royal theme in Appearance > Themes. After theme update, you should skip Setup Wizard and go to Theme Options to enter your purchase code.

    hi

    i have manage to update both the theme and woocommerce to 3.0.1.

    but the single product page attribute and variations is not working. It hangs when any of it is selected.

    Please advise.

    Hello,

    Go to Appearance > Themes > install and activate Storefront theme – official WC theme and check if this problem persists when default theme is activated.
    Try to disable 3-rd party plugins and update Visual Composer plugin https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/page/2/. Then check.
    Let us know the result.

    hi

    we narrow down to “Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer” giving issue. But it seem the plugin is already updated to the latest version, but it will still causes conflict with the theme.

    and must we purchase the bakery visual composer to update it?

    You can download plugin https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/page/2/
    , and update via FTP, just replace the folder with new update in wp-content/plugins/.

    hi

    after the update the “Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer” the attribute and variation is not working again. it load forever. we have disable it, in order for us to update our products.

    You can try to disable the WooComposer module(deprecated) from Ultimate setting.
