Topic: When i update parent theme it does not take effect from child.

Hello,
I make every change in child theme, and export data from child to main theme import. But some time changes didn’t take effect. like https://postimg.cc/BtzVn7TH
Theme version: 9.0.4

I put phone number in child theme but when I activate main theme it doesn’t show phone number.

Hello, Abdul Rehman,

Parent theme does not inherit child theme options. So, once you switch from child to parent you get other settings. If you want to import child setting to parent you need to go to Theme Options > Import/Export > export child theme settings, then switch to parent theme and import settings.
