When enabling Advanced Layout feature Header disappearing

Hi.

We are trying to use the feature Advanced Layout to control our checkout form. When enabling it the header disappears completely. We tried enabling and disabling the Header Builder use, but the same happens.

How can we make sure that all the website has the same header and footer with no change?

1/ We understand from your description that you are currently utilizing the Advanced Cart layout on your website and wish to implement a consistent header across the entire site.

Please be informed that the functionality to use a uniform header and footer on both the cart and checkout pages is indeed available and functioning properly. However, we have identified that within the header builder, you have only crafted a header for the desktop version. This header is displayed across the entire site with the ‘Header Overlap & Transparent’ option enabled, which appears to be the primary cause of the issue you are experiencing.

2/ We are pleased to inform you that the issue you reported has been successfully resolved. We kindly ask that you clear your browser’s cache before revisiting your site to see the changes.

Additionally, we have implemented a duplicate header to create multiple headers on your homepage, as per your request. For your reference, we have included an image to illustrate the modifications.

Hi,

Thanks for your thorough explanation and help, this all makes more sense now.

So there is the ALL SITE header option, and if we use the Header Overlap & Transparent option we need to create an additional header for the Cart and Checkout pages. Correct me if I’m wrong.

We see that you have created for us the header now, but we have 2 more questions:
1. On the demo site XStore (Sneakers) we see consistent header across the entire site. We thought that when we import the demo we will have the same. Right now that you added a different header to Cart and Checkout it doesn’t look consistent. (see images below)

2. Not only the header looks different on both, Cart and Checkout, but also things like the coupon line isn’t in the same place like the demo site.

See if you can tell us how to manage this.

We have recently conducted a test by importing the same demo onto our test site and are pleased to report that it functions as expected. In an effort to resolve the issue on your website, we attempted to align the settings of your site’s header with those of our test site. Notably, we have the main header background color set to transparent on our test site. However, we encountered a problem when trying to apply this setting to your site; the color does not change and reverts to its previous state. Our preliminary assessment suggests that there may be a conflict with a third-party plugin. As such, we kindly request that you temporarily disable all third-party plugins on your site, one at a time, to determine if this resolves the issue with the transparent color setting.

Should the problem persist, please leave all third-party plugins disabled and grant us permission to conduct a thorough investigation. This process will involve deactivating all third-party plugins and making necessary on-site customizations. By doing so, we aim to identify and rectify the issue promptly.

Not sure what you have done, but it seems like you have access to our website. The header been changed somehow, and we didn’t do it on our side.

Anyway, please check for us how we can use it normally, and have our header and footer working for all pages and the site looks like your demo.

1/ We would like to inform you that we have successfully deactivated a third-party plugin on your website, which has addressed the issue concerning the header transparency and the selection of a transparent background color.

Furthermore, we have prepared a video tutorial to assist you with this matter. You can view this video in the private content area provided for your convenience.

Upon further investigation, we noticed that when the Advanced Layout feature is activated and the Header Builder option is utilized, the header seems to disappear.

We have identified that the root cause of this issue is the header background color being set to transparent across the entire site. This results in the header appearing correctly on the homepage, where a background image is present, but not on the cart page, which lacks a background image.

To resolve this issue, we have created multiple headers specifically for your homepage. Please note that the settings in the Header Builder > Desktop will apply globally to your site, with the exception of the homepage.
