Topic: What is the difference between these two pages?

Hi,

Can you explain to me what the difference is between these two pages:

See below, as one appears to only required ‘Email address’ and ‘password’ to register, but the other URL requires ‘Name’ and then ‘Email address’ and ‘Password’ – with a password confirmation field.

So I am confused what is needed and not needed? as I don’t think I need both?

Hello,

Register page was configured by our developers but you can also enable registration form on “My account” page in Woocommerce > Settings > Accounts tab. If you uncheck “Automatically generate username from customer email” in those settings you’ll also get “Username” field on registration form as it won’t be created from an email address that a customer uses.
