What is "Image Loader" setting in Customizer > General / Layout > Images Loader

I am trying to figure out what this setting is:

Customizer > General / Layout > Images Loader

The description is not very “descriptive”. If i had to guess, it is an image that will be a placeholder for your products for when the images are still loading, basically this image will show up instead of blank space until the actual image loads on the site.

Am i correct in my assumption of what this setting is? I tried to set a couple different images but no matter what i did on my site, i couldnt find or see them anywhere.

Hello,

It is an image for the site preloader, so you need to enable this option first – https://prnt.sc/vfh300 and then upload an image. For example https://prnt.sc/vfh5sg https://xstore.8theme.com/demos/2/organic-cosmetics/
