    hi,

    please look at:

    http://newhmlwigs.hmlwigs.com/shop/

    for some reason these 2 menu (Naptural & Accessories) will NOT let me change the design to: subcategories + post

    I used the above method for wigs menu! I have cleared cache – changed browsers and nothing – it just changes back to drop down design instead of subcategories + post!!!?!

    Can you help with this please? – Coming so close to my deadline and now i am stuck!

    many thanks!

    Hello,

    Read theme documentation. To be able to Show subcategories + posts you should add the category with subcategories into menu http://d33v4339jhl8k0.cloudfront.net/docs/assets/5809d09590336070ba24798e/images/580f1b7c9033604deb0ea2d0/file-6j0ACqu9UB.jpg

    Make sure that you used categories for these 2 menu items.

    Regards

    Hi Olga,

    I have followed your ecample on the link provided and still not working – can you hae a look please?

    I just want to copy the ‘wigs menu’ – as you can see with Naptural & Accessories – the images do not show as like the wigs – i tried it your way and nothing and i have copied the exact same thing i did for wigs menu and nothing – you have “design” – “dropdown” – “mega menu” and “subcategories and post” – when i select subcategories and post and hit save – it just defaults back to “design” – is there a bug or something?

    Just to add – i dont know why i cannot just repeat the same steps i have for the wigs menu, just in case it’s a coding issue here are the codes i have changed in theme options:

    }

    .nav-sublist-dropdown .item-link {
    display: block;
    font-size: 0.93rem;
    padding: 0.72em 0;
    text-transform: uppercase;
    }

    .item-design-posts-subcategories .nav-sublist-dropdown {
    border: 1px solid #e6e6e6;
    left: 15px;
    min-height: 225px;
    height: 495px;
    padding: 75px 25px 0 45px;
    top: 115% !important;
    width: 800px;
    }

    a:hover {
    color: #d4af37;
    outline: medium none;
    text-decoration: none;
    }

    .item-design-mega-menu .nav-sublist-dropdown {
    margin-top: 25px;
    padding: 0;
    }

    really dont see how this makes a difference!

    Hello,

    This type of the mega menu design displays only post subcategories and posts. It will display them automatically and you don’t need to add subitems for your item. But post category that you add to menu should have subcategories http://prntscr.com/eurtdl Then it will display posts from these categories. Got it?

    Besides, you have a lot of menu items and seems reached the max input vars limit, that’s why if you choose the design type WP does not save it. Increase PHP max input vars limit to 5000.

    I have now increased vars – no problem with that.
    Hi i understand all of that – i have now chose mega menu – when i select mega manu and hit save – it just defaults back to “design” – I have increased vars – please check for yourself – why does it always default back to design no matter what i choose?

    Hello,

    No, you did not http://prntscr.com/evmn3y
    If you can’t save the menu custom options it means that you reached that limit. Detailed information about this problem you can read here http://sevenspark.com/wordpress/menu-item-limit
